So I just left Tunica Mississippi where the game that they give you is phenomenal. Most casinos, and the one that I stayed in, offers a low denominational game. Most of the week it was a $5 minimum bet. Friday and Saturday night they bumped it to $10. Compare that to my home casino where it is hard to find a $25 game on a Saturday night. Next, they offer 100X odds. WHAT??? That is amazing. Compared to my home game of 5X odds. Now I am certainly not the one to bet $5 on the line and $500 in odds. But I do like to increase my bets as the numbers are hit. On a good roll, I can certainly get to that number. Next, they offer a buy bet on the 5 and 9 with a $20 minimum bet. This town is the only place I have ever seen that done. For the place bettor, this is unbelievable. And it gets better when I tell you they take the 5% vig on wins only. WOW again. Now throw into the mix that "most" of the dealers are knowledgeable and friendly. I do quote most because there are some dummies. Dom and I are playing SR1 and SR2. He is shooting and has a come bet on the 8. after the 5th time he hit it and pressed his odds to max bet, he threw out a $60 place bet so he could double dip. The dealer was so perplexed that he would do this, she was frozen in time. It literally took 3 minutes to explain to her what he wanted done. And we all know that when Dom gets on a roll, he doesn’t like to speak! To anyone that is! So to have to explain this to her, I saw him turning a shade of blue that matched the carpeting. Anyway, after that was all said and done, he continued to throw the 8 a couple more times blowing this woman’s mind. BTW, that was a sweet roll or 29 with the 8 pounded from all sides. Anyway, so my question to everyone is "TRUTHFULLY", who is a come bettor and who is a place bettor and why? We all know the numbers behind the game and what bets are better then others. But I would like to discuss if you are a come better, why and what is your betting strategy. Same for the place better. Lets assume that you are in your home casino, please tell us what your odds are and game info as well. Thanks. Look forward to hearing some answers.

Things haven’t been great really yet since class with the come bets. I did have one night with a 50+ roll, but I was so nervous I didn’t bet much of anything on myself. Mostly was rolling for the others at the table. I like the come bets when someone 7’s out and I get some money back, but most of the time I’m jinxed. I do the 5 count and then put a come bet out. Almost always the shooter hits a point and then bam next roll they 7 out. I cant tell you how many times that happened to me last week. Really sucked.

I myself started with place bets then went to come bets . Then that did not work as well as I hoped so now use a combination of both .It will depend on how the roll is going .Most of the time I never get 4 come bets out there if I have place bets out there .I have had to many times were I have had all the numbers covered with come bets to loose them . That hurts a lot .So I try to keep them to no more then 3 till I have some wins in rack . I do not mind putting up that 3rd come bet again and again if that comes around .If this happens enough I will place that number depending on how the roll is going and how I feel .Every roll of the dice may be different so who knows .
I will never forget the roll were I decided to make come bets only and both the place betters and the DP betters were making money like crazy and I made vary little .The DP even thanked me for rolls .Which they say nothing most of the time .I did finally bet on the 7 on come out roll ,that was after looseing about 12 come bets . Then did not put up enough so the dealers helped me on the next come out roll .Which worked and did win some on those come bets .
Good Rolling.

All of this depends a bit on how the dice look and how I feel. The one thing I have learned in all my time with GTC is "trust the throw". When I do, my results are usually much better.
Keep practicing!
