3 hour roll ….

Spread the love

Recently while at one of my local casinos, the dealers were telling me that there was someone that had the dice for about 3 hours. Now, I know who the person is as they told me, and they are a regular, but unfortunately not a GTC (or any other that I’m aware).

However, I think that is a phenomenal feat to do, for anyone. I was disappointed to hear when I asked how many times they had to restock the chips. I believe that they said only once, but all the chips were in the rails. I know for myself, and probably many other GTC’ers here, we probably would have needed a fill, just for ourselves. I suppose that I didn’t ask if they brought out anything bigger than what they normally have (usually the biggest they have on table is $500 chips). But for the amounts they were throwing out that some of them won, They barely would have needed a fill on the table. And for some out there who may also wonder, I believe that it was said that they only hit 1 side of the Small/All/Tall bet, never hit them all the entire time.

I love this game and journey, and love to hear stories like this, but would much rather hear it more from a teacher or student doing it, or being on the table to take advantage of it. I would also like to know how many tosses they ended up with to see if they made it past the record or not.

Would there be any way to ask a casino about that, or something? I know there are magazines or sites that do articles, so could they possibly contact them and get the info perhaps or something? Just wondering.

Oh, & Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!!

Always fun to hear these stories. Thanks for posting.

We do know that the "eye in the sky" would have a record of how many throws were made, but doubt if the casinos would care to count.

But it would be interesting.

I think if they had a record held on there establishment, they would want the publicity.

Pat DeMauro’s 154 hand roll lasted 4 hours and 18 minutes.

The Captain’s 147 hand roll was a lot shorter.

Boy if there were no prop. betters and they just said up a unite it would make the game go by fast and it would be a monster . But that is a BIG IF .
The first 10 rolls go fast then the big betters or crazy betters start to slow the game down .
Good Rolling. 🙂 🙂

if you are talking about the casino off the skyway, im shocked the roll lasted three hours. Usually a bunch of spectators jump in with 50 dollars betting one dollar this and one dollar that.

If you go to this casino, let me know. I usually go on Friday nites and play at the 7 stars table.

Green,

I know the place that you speak of, and no, it was nowhere in that vicinity … go east about 45 minutes, cross another border, off the interstate.

I have only played the one you reference a couple times. The few times I’ve been there, too difficult to get my spot, and since I don’t go often, I don’t rank any higher than a new person visiting for the first time.

Have you crossed paths with Scooter or Hardnine? They go there, but not sure of days or times.

I may try & make a trip there in the next couple weeks, so I don’t lose my points that I have accumulated, and if I do, I will try to send you a message.
