Craps

Mastering the shoot

Spread the love

The physical the 10 percent the easy part.

All you need to do is to have the perfect grip pressure that allows the dice to pull out of your hand each time, you can not open your hand to get them to release.

They need to release and fly parallel to the table.

Then you need to be able to make them land in a 3 inch spot 80 % of the time. a 3 inch abs cap is perfect for this test.

So if this part takes about 2 yrs. to master that means that the mental takes about 18 yrs, LMAO.

I am now 8 years into this journey and I have finally found my inner peace at the table.

I found it watching a movie, in the movie kung fu panda 2 the great dragon Warrior said " all inner peace is, is the ability to leave the past in the past and move on".

So simple.

BM,

I like your posts on the shoot, in your inputs on whatever post subjects,
and I search the forum for you wise titbits.
I’m presently at a point of being a ‘negative influencer’ and almost want
to shoot at the casinos on the dark side. Will experiment with that mode
of throwing and betting on my practice table.

I have not yet tried it at the tables but in day to day living when something is getting to me I just think of po at the end of the movie when he finds the happy place and does all the crazy things he does with the cannon balls that are being fired at him, I can not help but go to a happy place I do the circles with my feat and with my hands to find the focus but it works for me.

That is just terrific BMan! Happy Place equals more focus and more focus equals mucho dinero for you! Maybe you will have to change your dice handle! 😀

Lets face the facts good food is a huge part of playing craps, why because food done right is a happy place for me.

I t is like this when I am out to eat I want a certain taste, I order steaks very rare slightly cold in the middle is good, I will not eat a hamburger unless they are willing to cook it rare fast food excluded.

Sushi is a must o Toro is a preference, amibi.

Great pizza.

great sourdough bread with your steak.

great Desert Gordon Ramsey’s brown butter ice cream with sticky toffee.

I can go on and on.

No craps but had the new California burger carls jr, dairy queen followed by legally blond and kung Fu panda 3, I restled with my chai Wawa and made sure my dad ate dinner.

Just another day for the Panda master of dice.

Bman you seem not to be the grass hopper type . But then we can ALL change if only if we want to .

Finisher the grass hopper started as a angry young man he was a student of a shaolin temple, even after mastering his craft he still struggled with the mental aspects at times.

I to started as a student still am a student always looking to improve my game, always asking questions about it, looking at it on the whole all the way from the throw to when and why to play and who to play with.

We have only meet a few times but I have noticed that you have changed some since the first meeting . To the GOOD as far as I can tell . But as I have a long way to go so do most of us . This is a journey that takes some time with trial and error for most of us .
You are a great ambassador for GTC way .You just need to know that it is not worth getting mad over little things that you can not change .After you throw that 7 you will get another chance to have a longer roll .But if let it get to you you will NOT .
Enjoy being able to meet so many after they have taken the class and know more then they did before they took it .They may not have it down as good as you would like but I think they will also lean from you .
Good Rolling. 😀 😀
