Meet up with OMC and son after class and off we go. We start at a place south of the strip and find an empty table with 3 nice crew and a boxman with a set of shoulders with a pimple on top.
OMC starts first and "you must hit the back wall with both dice sir". OMC adjusts and continues throwing and a few later one die bounces sideways and the same comment is made from the now redder pimple. Now 3 suits are watching over the boxman’s shoulder after he made a call. Seven out. I shoot, same comments as well as for OMC’s son. And the pimple gets still redder.
Another round, OMC doesn’t do well. I shoot and same comments with the addition of you have to move back so your swing doesn’t extend out. I adjust and the boxman comes around and looks at my feet. A couple of throws later he announces that you are done, and does OMC’s son want to complete my point of 8. He does and makes it. FINE!
We color up while listening to the boxman tell the suits why he is throwing me out. It was hilarious! As we leave I tell OMC and son to give them a big smile even though OMC was steamed. Oh Well!
Next stop, back to Thursday night. Table is crowded, so we stand around an empty table and a few minutes later a crew shows up as well as 3 suits. If a die goes sideways and doesn’t hit the wall – comments! If a CF (a regular) doesn’t get the dice past the C in Come – no comments!
The table gets very crowded and I ask for us to color up, and off to the table near class.
We shoot with the second and third shift people and all are great. See Dice Pilot, Goddess and Sandtrap and all look tired. Also "Thor" and friend (sorry TOO many new names to remember). Table is crowded with a LONG time between throws. DP, Goddess and Sandtrap leave for some rest and OMC and son jump in (I watch the festivities as I am tired also) Everyone at the table has a strange smile on their faces. The virgin principle comes into play with a very lovely young lady and her spouse (He was extremely polite with the crew) and she throws twice, with some nice returns for everyone.
OMC and son leave the next morning to the outlook of many more Colorado shooters throwing the GTC way. I am trying to team up with AlamoTX and The Griz. No luck
We continue to play tag until by accident near class a person buys in and says that is an interesting shot, I think I will try that. AlamoTX! The Griz leaves shortly to run some errands. I find myself struggling with all the small and one large change and end up the week down $20.
