Perhaps that’s what made me feel the jitters this morning about going there. I went to the watery place, up a little, AND got to see some guy blow $50 grand ON HOP BETS. UNBELIEVABLE

You need to change that yourself. Go to "user Controls Panel" in the upper left hand corner

Hard nine

was the 50 k blown on hops done at the local airport casino near ORD? Ive seen a guy there bet the HOPS, 1000 on the hard 6 n 8 and then 500 each on the easy 6 and 8. Ive seen him go up 60 K only to lose it again.

GreenMachine,

Yep, that’s the place. And that’s what the crew and another player said, he’s up, then he’s down…. but the buying in for $2k on every roll is obnoxious! He eventually did lay down $20k for chips, but most of the time is was $2-3 at a time. Perhaps he is superstitious?!?! šŸ˜†

Most have their own way of betting (GAMBLING ) .That is one way of many that helps the casino build more .
Just saying not ALL bet as they were shown .
Just watch u tube about whales in Vegas .Some chips go up as high as 10,000,000 .

Indeed, Finisher. It’s funny almost to the point of frustrating to watch people do that. There is a guy at my client who I’ve talked with about Craps for quite a while, almost got him to AC for the open house in March, but he’s watched the videos and we’ve talked. He’s gone to betting dark side, but at least does it with some thought. He understands, and after playing with me, is at least barely over on our side of the fence on believing in dice influencing, but at least has a brain and watches and thinks about every shooter. He tried shooting the hardways set but to no avail, surprising, huh? But he has even thought about that and given up because he knows it takes more than just watching the video.

Anyway, back to the funny/frustration, if only people watched what was going on! BigDaddy-Revs was on a roll one time and the guy straight out started with an orange worth in his rail, and after BDR finished his twenty something roll, the guy was broke. If people are willing to bet that way (gamble), then I’m more than happy to get their money into the house’s hands….. and into mine!

I was at the local NW Indiana place last weekend. Prior to dinner, I was at a table with two other guys, and we all had decent rolls 12 to 20 but the strange thing was that we all hit part or all of the ATS x4. I dont normally bet it and if I do, no more than 5 each but when it was my turn to roll again and I was up a few purple, I bet 50x50x50 and hit them all. Crazy.

So far have never been asked to do that at craps . But then again never had a big win on one bet .

Usually, there isn’t a W2G forced until you hit 300-1:

4.Ā TheĀ winningsĀ (exceptĀ winningsĀ fromĀ bingo,Ā slotĀ machines,
keno,Ā andĀ pokerĀ tournaments)Ā reduced,Ā atĀ theĀ optionĀ ofĀ the
payer,Ā byĀ theĀ wagerĀ are:
a.Ā $600Ā orĀ more,Ā and
b.Ā AtĀ leastĀ 300Ā timesĀ theĀ amountĀ ofĀ theĀ wager

In other words, a casino can force paperwork for a win above $600, but they usually don’t want to bother. That means they must hit you with paper for a 6-number Fire Bet win.

You are legally obligated to report and pay taxes on those winnings yourself, mind you. Unless you’re JesJac…

I did not get a W2G unless it is for a five point fire. Even though the numbers can be large on the ATS, I saw someone in vegas bet 100 each and hit for 3400, 17500, and 3400, no IRS paper work was needed.
