Tomorrow is the birthday of my best friend and love mate,
who has taken care of me, is not a debate.
And before our feet will no longer hit the floor,
Goddess should know my love has grown a lot more.
Maybe our health has been up and down,
but we are still able to motor around town.
Sometimes it’s difficult for her, I would agree,
because she’s type “A” and I’m only a “C”.
But somehow it works, and I am always amazed,
For this is another reason, God should be praised.
Our family is worth more than fame or money.
Is it OK because she is Jewish to rhyme this with Easter Bunny?
She is proud to be the age of 74,
beautiful and smart, I couldn’t ask for more.
So to all the years I hope we yet have,
it’s not up to us, but to Yaweh (God).
This last part may not rhyme,
I’ve probably finished this poem just in time.
To quote Lou Gehrig, years after his birth,
I am the luckiest man on the face of the earth.

Charlie, I knew you were a poet when you wrote a poem at one of my birthdays. Your tribute to the love of your life is a treasure just like the both of you are to Golden Touch.
