Back from AC

Spread the love

I made a short trip to AC Monday, returning last night. Monday, I could do no wrong. The table that I was at get crowded pretty quickly. It was a 12 footer. There was another table open with no one playing. I switched tables. But, I did not have the earlier success. Maybe because it was 14 feet and I could not make an immediate adjustment. I just don’t know. Before I left the first table, I noticed a guy at the top left with a nice rack of chips. I noticed that table number one was no longer crowded and went back. This time, the top left guy was still there, but most of his chips weren’t. I proceeded to throw a 32 with seven 9’s. He was on the nine. I was not. He called Yo’s, I made them. He began tipping me as I made five points. He regained his wealth and said he would kiss me, but did not think I was his type.

The next day, yesterday, I could not get off the snide. I gave back all of my winnings and dropped several hundred in the hole. Early yesterday afternoon, I went to get my secretary some chocolate near Johnny Rockets . I went into a nearby casino and found an empty table. A few people shortly showed up. I was at SR1 and an Afro-American went to SL1. I did not know him. I proceed to shoot a 33. He shot like me and shot a 35. I was back in the money and left AC a winner.

Monday night I was at casino not too far from Johnny Rockets. I was at SR1 and a woman came up to SR2. A normal shooter. At one point she yelled she wanted a 3 way. Every male eye looked at her. When she realized her error, she said on the Yo. Everyone laughed.

A great report. To us this is typical of a trip. There will be winning session and losing sessions—it comes with the territory and that, my friends, is why we stress everyone should have an adequate 401G to get you through the down times. Losing sessions will occur.

But as your report illustrates you hung in there, and came back a winner. As No Field Five says " trust your throw."

You are a credit to GTC. Thanks for sharing your trip report.

Philham,

Thanks for the great trip report. I always enjoy reading about your journey’s to AC. As a former N 7’s winner you have the skill, ability and knowledge to be a consistent winner; which you are. Keep it up and please keep giving us those trip reports, always a great read.

BTW, you should plan a trip to AC when GTC is having its next class in March, stop into our open house on Friday afternoon and say hello. It has been a few years since we have seen you.
