Shreveport- The Good-The Bad- Sorry, No Ugly

Spread the love

NickatNight here: What a super class Dom, Bob and the Partners put together. The Casino’s were fantastic, The people were Great, But the BEST part was the GREATEST Students for Video Elite, Primers and Refreshers.

I saw improvement and understandiing in what was taught on the practice rigs and in the classroom. We all think that Shrevport will be a yearly class as the new 2016 schedules are locked in.

A special thanks to Tommy and his whole family crew from the great State of Texas. The time at the craps table was a blast and high fives were hurting our hands. The rolls were terrific. I myself hit a high roll that maybe Dom might express.
He said I had a 70 roll. All I remember was I made one point only—-The HARD FOUR that I kept pressing and what I hoot to hit that one.

Thanks to all the students that make the efforts we all do worth while
See some of you at the table again

Nick, you are right on. A great class. AND there were great rolls in the casino from time to time. Rose and Doc had the pleasure to as mentors with the primer students–and learn they did. They really absorbed everything we taught. One of my students Dickey hit 6 to the fire bet and came in second in the no 7’s contest. He was right on.

Thanks TommyC for all you and your family do for GTC. I do believe you have more fun than all of us put together. We couldn’t work any harder and have more fun without you.

Remember Vegas is just around the corner and we look forward to another great class.

Thank you Dom, Bob and the partners of GTC for all of your hard work.

Rose and Doc

Thanks to both for the kind words, but we enjoyed every minute of the experience. As a family we try to have fun wherever we are, but we certainly try a little harder at the crap table.
As you two said the refreshers and the primers were both incredibly fast learners.
I was at the table when The Ten Man had his monster and also witnessed the fire bet winner.
Great time with great people. Ready for Vegas.

I must agree with everyone about the quality of all students in the Shreveport Class. The improvement everyone showed was unbelievable. The Primer group has the potential to be one of the best GTC has ever had and the Refreshers all demonstrated how much they want to learn with all of the questions they asked. Also we had a refresher win the no 7’s contest which usually goes to a Primer.

Thanks to TommyC and his crew for all their help and also for all of the laughs they give the GTC crew.

Shreveport is an amazing venue to play the game we enjoy so much, we all had a great time.

See everyone in 2 weeks when we convene in Las Vegas.

Wow!! What can I say? It has been a while since I have had as much fun as I did at the Shreveport seminar. Monstrous rolls, an abundance of laughs, and an absolutely amazing time. HardNine had a good roll, NickatNight had a monster, Midnight had a nice one, Dom had a nice roll on the last night, and Tricky Dickey from the Primer class had a super roll as well. The monster rolls just kept pouring in. I was blessed to be able to have a monster roll that Tommy C, aka. "Tommy Gun" and his family were able to be a part of. Just like Dom, I believe in good energy and positivism as I can often be heard shouting out numbers and cheering on the shooter. Tommy and his family were cheering me on the whole time and the numbers just kept coming. Thank you guys for providing me with the extra spark I needed to keep going. Most importantly, that roll would not have been possible without the critiques and attention to detail the instructors provided me. Minute changes generated significant improvements in my toss and the results at the table were illustrative of that. The best critiquing of course came from my favorite instructor, "Mrs. Alligator Rose", who by the way is a much better instructor than her husband Dr. Crapology. She made a change on my back swing, got my shoulders square and straight, and the Hard Tens just kept on coming. On the last day when everybody had departed, Alligator Rose had a monster roll herself and I was blessed to have been a part of it. Those 8’s just kept coming and I started it off with a $190.00 place bet. By the time she was finished, I had over $11,000.00 in my rack from only place betting the 8 alone. That is why she is one of the best. I had an absolute blast and I cannot wait to do it again. I won’t be able to make the Vegas class, but I will be at the Atlantic City class in October. My girlfriend will be attending the Atlantic City class with me and I’m requesting that she be placed on the Good Time Rollers with Alligator Rose as her instructor. Lol. 😀 She is a lefty as well and Alligator Rose will definitely be able to help her with that. Can’t wait to see you guys and do it again. Have fun out in Vegas and tear them up.

Agreed with all of the above, what an absolutely great time, the Video Elite with No Field Five, Billy the Kid, and Nick @ Night, the Refresher with Midnight (aka Monster [rolls]) as mentor and all of the instructors as mentioned. The dynamic duo of Rose and Doc, Mr. Finesse, Dom, and my Primer Mentor and head of the Holy Rollers Sandman and above mentioned NFF, BTK, N@N and Midnight all have their perspectives on your throw that compliment each other and build upon what others have seen. I had some good rolls, bad bets that I should be yelled at for, but made up for them by being the only GTC’er on the 6 point fire Dickey hit along with just one other CF’er.

As The Ten Man mentioned, the positive energy at the tables makes things happen. Even our two CF shooters (JT? and Rebecca?) one night were a blast for us to cheer on and bet minimal bets on. Very memorable sessions, especially when The Ten Man hit my hard nines and I hit his hard tens!!! Too funny!

Thanks to all involved, the weekend was worth the 900 mile drive. Note, drove to Tunica on the way home and didn’t bet a dollar of my own money as I couldn’t get SL spots, so put the 3@$15 house chips to win $5, which I then put into video poker for some credit on my card, then slept and drove home.

See ya’ll some time, keep up the great shooting!

Agreed all around. The class was amazing. It was structured a little different this time with myself having 10 refresher students. I was concerned by I think it went incredibly well. The improvement was amazing from Friday to Sunday and the casino’s were a blast. Some awesome rolls. Great time as always.
