Great Roll in practice

Spread the love

Just rolled a 37 in practice using the 3V set with only three 7s, I should be happy!!!

Very humid today and I could feel the fingertips sticking on all throws 😡 Couldn’t figure out how to make a correction.

Out of the 37 only 5 were box numbers, made two points [10 and 8] and then seven-ed out.

The Gremlin with a perverse sense of humor was certainly setting on my shoulder 😈

Anyone else ever have a roll like this or is it one for the record book? 🙄

HowardF You said that you rolled 37 numbers with 5 of them being box numbers? Then you said that you made 2 points one being the 10 the other 8 . Also that you rolled 3 -7s. That gives you 2 wins with 7s right ? With 2 wins on points and one box number win. Total wins 5 wins in a 37 roll.
I hope you were not betting the GTC WAY ON THIS ROLL.

If you were betting the world you should have made a lot depending on how ALL those other numbers came out that were not box numbers.

You rolled the 10 twice and the 8 twice so that only left you with one other box number that you rolled .I hope you were betting it.

I once rolled 17 numbers before est. a point one time but have not been close to that lately.

A SRR of 12.33 is good.

Maybe some one can give you a good idea of how to bet on a roll like this?
Good Rolling. 😀

8 crap numbers before the 1st 10 showed up then 11 crap numbers before the 2d 10, then 7-7-8-8 then #36 was a 9 then a 7.

Yes I use chips in practice and by the time the 1st point number arrived I was so leery I only bet a nickle without odds. I hope I never see a roll like that at the casino

We always know what Dice Set we used, we often do not realize what dice set we landed.

It appears that you landed an In-Line-Sixes or 3:4 3:4 Axis set.

Here is what that axis landing would look like if it were perfect.

That is a great toss for a Crapless table while buying the extreme outside numbers.

Here is a chart for the numbers possible with the 3-4 3-4, In-Line-Sixes, 66T22F landing.

The numbers in Blue would be the on axis toss for the 3-4 3-4 axis.

It appears that your toss mirrored these results. Consistent for the 37 rolls(if I am reading your results correctly).

Howard Were you using the set from the get go?
I vary seldom start off with a hard way set or the 2-v or 3 -v it seems to draw heat right off the bat when rollers do that . Just one thing that has come up lately.
I fling them down the table and most of the time the pit critter is gone by the time I start to set the dice. They seem to have to be looking at other games besides craps now a days.
I really like it if they are gone for 10 to 15 min.
Hope too that you never have a roll like that in a casino.
Good Rolling.

In practice, first is always V3, in the casino the first is just a grip & throw, by the time I make point the crew has made some money on the piggybacks and I just keep on with the V3 set.

A while back I went to a new casino [for me] the box and crew were razzing me about setting the dice and not repeating any numbers except 3-11-12 after about10 throws, my response was "Hell I just read a book, if I was any good all I you would see is 6s & 8s; of course I then ran a string of 7 sixes and wound up with a good roll in the mid 20s, told the crew setting might help but a lot of luck sure didn’t hurt 😀

HowardF You know what kills me is that I just had a practice were I threw 130 rolls which I hah one single roll that said I passed. ( smart craps )
The roll consisted of 7 turns of dice. 9-7-9-2-23-2-78. Even with that roll of 78 I did not pass smart craps . I did make the 6th number for a fire bet. Now I wish I could see that roll again in a casino. 😀 😀 But not likely.

I only had 9 PWs in the 130 rolls which is not many. One each for 8-6-10 and 2 each for the 4s-5s 9s . In the 78 roll I had the 5 PW twice .

I have a HARD time passing smart craps even tho I may have a long roll. I am not going to worry about that any more . But I did think that it was interesting to see if I had passed it with that kind of roll.
I rolled 15 hard ways.

So far that is my longest roll in practice.Hope to do one that good in a casino.
Good Rolling. 😀 😀

Now if you just would have been playing a Crapless table, with all the 2,3,11,12 that would have been amazing.
