53 in AC

Spread the love

Got to AC Wednesday PM. Lost $170.00. Thursday, I go down at 6:30 AM. My spot is taken, so I go next door. Two people at table, one at each end. Dice quickly come to me. I establish the 10 as the point. I roll about 22 times before making hard 10. Lots of 5’s, 4’s 6’s and 8’s. I am in a relaxed zen like mode. I know where I am, but feel like a shooting machine. Guy on my right had about $5000 in his rack when I got there. He has all the numbers covered and keeps pressing his bets or going up in units. I establish the next point, again a ten, but it is hard. Second roll is the hard ten. I threw a total of 53 rolls. The guy on my right finished with about $45000. He made bets for me, i.e. hard 10 or 6. Though I never bet the 5, I hit it 12 times. He had 1000’s on it. After I finished, I was told I threw 5 different numbers and both shooters won their $5 fire bet. The guy at the other end had a rack of green. Me, a measly $1000. The rest of the trip was not too great. I need Viagra or Cialis for craps. I estimated the $45000 by looking at the five hundred dollar stack of chips in the bank. I was told a stack was $10000. The big winner had about three stacks in his rack plus 15 orange $1000 chips. Somebody loved me, be it only for the moment.

Nice roll Philham. You have to realize this other player was betting much more than you and that is why he won more money. But he will probably lose much of that many times over while you will be a steady winner.

Check out the following article I wrote and see if your winnings are in line with the parameters I describe in the article.

Wow nice roll Congrats! I agree with Skinny, the other player was probably happy to see you show up. You probably helped him gain back some of the money he had already lost.

NICE REPORT PHILHAM.

You could implement a come betting strategy thus taking advantage of the multiple 5s you hit since you chose not to place bet the 5. Or after the second 5 place it since you are hitting it.

I thought about come bets after my roll was over. Too little, too late. As part of my Billy Zen training, I shoot in a light trance. I know where I am, but focus on repeating the toss like R.A. Dickey throws his knuckleball. Nothing gets in the way of the next toss when I am hot. Sometimes, the toss starts out in a tight range and I know there is a strong chance of a lengthy roll. Other times it begins sloppy and tightens up. There are times when I can only throw one long roll. Other times, three or four in a row. I have not been able to figure out why. But I keep trying. NFF, thanks.

Nice roll Phil! It is always difficult looking back on what you could have done to increase profits on a long roll. It is just another step on your craps journey. Incorporate a few come bets into your longer rolls now that you know you can do it! After seeing your throw, there will be many more in your future.
