There was a couple who were don’t betting on the left end of the table as we arrived. They would always bet a don’t pass bet even when they were shooting. Before Nick@Night got the dice for his great roll another don’t better bellied up to the right corner. He made some good money on other throwers (CF’s) at the table. If he did lose a don’t pass bet he would press the next one and eventually win back what he lost.
Then Nick got the dice.
Nick@Night’s dice looked perfect. they were seemingly glued together, landing in the same spot each time. He made several points back-to-back – setting the point number and immediately repeating the same number. Even though there were bets very near where he liked to land the dice, he never hit them. He was focused! He was on fire! There were very few trash numbers – just box number after beautiful box number. The don’t couple switched to right side betting after losing several bets on the don’t. They could see that there was something magical happening.
The other guy, however, was not as observant (like the first yearTexas A&M veteranarian school Animal Anatomy class students and the dead cow)- or maybe he just couldn’t believe what was happening. Nick cost the single don’t bettor a fortune but he was too stubborn to switch to right side betting. He lost his initial buy-in, bought in again and proceeded to lose the second buy-in as well. He left in a huff as Nick@Night contimued pounding the box numbers.
I do not remember any particular number being dominant as I was come betting and making very excellent money. All I know is that I was doing the roll counting and it was a very, very nice run.
When I rolled, I do not remember much about what was happening around the table as I was focused on the roll. I did not throw a 7 until my final number. I was come betting so I would have remembered all my come bets coming down had I rolled a come-out 7. I never hit a 2, 4, or 12. All the box numbers had bets on them except the lone 4. A couple of the Horsemen immediately bought the 4 when my first point was a 10. they never collected on it – though they did collect on the 10 several times.
The other Horsemen who were there may have more to contribute, but that is what I can recall.

Always nice to hear how, why, and what happened.
For me it is part of my learning curve, being still very new to this games called craps!
Way to go you two. BTW was this near class or further away?

You really don’t need to tell the world were you play.
Good Rolling. 😀

From the various posts in the past I understand the crowd mentality that can occur if people know where you are going.
At least for this past class weekend, every GTC person I saw and or met at various tables stayed low key and shot the dice. They would acknowledge my presence with a smile or a nod of the head, and then back to work with the dice!
Thanks again for the commentary of how the rolls went!
Till next time!
