I also use the 3V set even in practice, I’ve found that when I start throwing dbl pitch 7s {4/3 -5/2} the problem is usually grip [fingers off just a tad bit] throwing a little too hard or I’m off on my optimum landing angle, usually too high with a drop-in angle of over 55 deg.

Yea! Sometimes I can do no wrong, sometimes no matter what it’s crap, sometimes it’s aw #$$&^%$ I can do better than this! TO PARAPHRASE Frank {sometimes no mater what even if the throw is perfect} How may times have we released the dice knowing it’s a PERFECT throw and the seven shows up or knowing it’s a really BAD release and we "luck out" with a box number.
