Tunica is only about 45 miles from Memphis, less than 1 hour drive. I stay in Tunica and drive up every morning and Check out all of the casino’s there rates vary.

7 x 7—From what I have gleamed from trying to find a room—Memphis is totally booked and most all of the hotels there have no rooms available as there is some sort of a convention in Memphis. This has caused a "spill over" down to Tunica causing the rooms rates to go sky high. Did get a decent rate at ST in the low $100’s. Don’t like it but we had no choice. If you have a players card at one of the casino companies that have casinos all over the US ( such as Caesar’s Entertainment, MGM or Boyd Gaming) and you play there, you might be able to get a lower room rate for Fri and Sat nights. Other wise you might call the Tunica Chamber of Commerce or some organization about some of the small Independently owned small non casino hotels in the area.

This can be done for any total rewards resorts it is handy to help you plan you can see when you can get a comp room and not and how much you can expect to spend for a room.
