Thanks again Frank and many of the posters on this web site. I am back from another successful session at AC. I am green at rolling and have just started practicing control. I may roll if it does not look like anyone else at the table can but most of time I pass and practice at home.
If anyone from this forum was in AC on Sunday and you were my shooter thanks. Yes, I was lucky enough to have a shooter throwing just like the book and video show. Using the high roller bet method I was up to $150 on 6 and 8 and $75 on 4 and $10 and got paid there several times so it was a LONG roll, with the 5 count and a minimum 15 wins on my place bets it had to be in the 30’s. An Older gentleman with a few friends at the B, and they did not talk to me which is fine.
I am still waiting on my sleeve of dice and gripper and I am my copy of Cutting Edge Craps is here, the third book I am reading from Frank. I read some other posted before I wrote this in particular the article against dice control. I just do not think many people read anymore. How can dealers who work the craps table not have read and observed. I mean I am a skeptic. I did not believe everything Frank wrote just because I read it. Experience has shown me that he speaks the truth. At the very least, I am a more courteous and educated player at the table. If the roll looks good I place 6$ for the dealers and take control of the bet and increase with my bets. I know when I get paid, what NOT to bet on and how to recognize a shooter. At one point I was at a $15 dollar table and put down $10 on the pass line and rolled. The player next to me said you are supposed to have $15 this is a $15 dollar table. The dealer said I could do whatever I wanted. I guess the $100 plus tip they got from the big roller helped, or maybe they wanted me to stay and lose some of the money I won. Both?
I know I am due for a loss at some point but I took another stack of $100 bill home after I paid off my marker ( 1st for me) and the money will be in my 401G shortly( newly created with my bank roll). I am still in shock and I need to exert a lot of self-control to stay away from the local Indian reservations up here in NE, at least for a month.
Thanks, I cannot say it enough. I will be at a GTC class at some point.
