Craps

Trip Report 12/13/14

Spread the love

Yesterday I met 2 members of our New England group at what used to be the best casino to play craps at in the world. Notice I said USED TO BE at the top of my lungs. Bill Burton and I used to play there at least twice a week and sometimes 3. This casino had the best tables and dealers in the world.

Well management decided to change their tables, they now have micro-fiber and I do not like them. I will not go into detail but I will never play there again.

I threw the dice 3 times and that was enough for me. I visited every part of this huge casino and what once was the largest casino now has sections closed off and boarded up. I guess competition is partly the reason but not giving fair games is most likely the best reason.

Take my advice and visit the casino that is only 7 miles away.

We have been hearing some of that over the past 18 months. Hopefully Rose and Doc can meet you and some of the New England group in the future. Have a great Christmas and New Year if we don’t get a chance to visit in the mean time.

It’s getting harder and harder to find "good" playing conditions

The Princess and I live in MD and we do the majority of our craps playing in NJ or NV

That tells you what we think of our "surroundings"

Reminds me of how our favorite place in AC went unfavorable last Spring.

It was really nice for a very long time. Nice dealers and tables, not much heat.

There are 2 casinos within 30 minutes of where we live — they are practically UNBEATABLE

We don’t even bother trying

We beep the horn at the 2 of them on our way to Atlantic City

And, to tell you the truth, AC has not been too easy to beat either

Our favorite casino in CC BH now wants the vig on the five and nine upfront.it doesn’t seem like anybody adds anything favorable to us.I guess if nobody plays they will have to do something.

Friday, The M M & M’s will go play at the favorable casino. Let me know if you want to meet me up there or you want me to pick you up!

What time are we going to meet and will it be a day trip or overnight?
Either way is ok with me.

Follow on trip report from New England group. After the bad experience at the first casino, some of us went over to the other place. Played at the $10 table with mixed results. As usual, very crowded. We tried the "big boy" table with same results. I left to eat and meet other friends but the last player of the group stuck it out. He had a great roll followed by another PARR type shooter having a great roll. He left very happy.
It seems we are down to two tables now. The problem is beating the crowded conditions.

Looking forward to next time. Friday?

Rose and Doc are jealous. It is just too far from central Texas.

Hope to meet you some other spot in the near future.

John,
Friday at MS. I am picking up Finesse at 8:00. Should be there by 9:30. I think Sandman is going up super late Thursday.
