Need Feedback on Laughlin conditions

Spread the love

The subject says it all. I might take a charter to Laughlin in late January and would like up to date feedback on casinos and table conditions. I know Randman has the technical info, but I’m interested in human feedback.

Much appreciated as always.

Laughlin is a regular stop for me. I’d be glad to fill you in. May even be able to plan a work trip and meet you there. A very manageable place will one casino after another along the river walk except for Harrah"s up the hill to the south. Some manageable tables, some very long tables, some trampolines and one in particular unfriendly place. About three really good restaurants and overall a low key fun place. Lots of Canadian snowbirds there for the Winter and French and German tourists which are there to have fun. More Asian tourist there during the Summer for the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, Laughlin and SoCal bus tours but they don’t seem to gamble much. Typically nice weather in January compared to the heat from Hell in the Summer months.

I know that 2 casinos fly people in from TEX. OR SOUTH .Some bring players in by bus also .
Some casinos have black chips as their high chip so if you play big you will need two hands to get to cage . 🙂 🙂
Good Rolling. 🙂 🙂

There is only one good table in town and they will not let you play if you start winning.

Tex, yes there are a few places where you can play in Laughlin, but why not head on up the road about 1 1/2 hours for at least a part of your trip. It is an easy trip. You can rent a car for the day and really go to the place we all love. If you drive back near or after dark dark as you come out of the hills into Laughlin all the casinos are lighted up and reflecting off the water–a spectacular sight. A great kodak moment if you are a photographer.

If you get a chance head up to the town of Oatman, an old mining town, where the burros walk around in the streets expecting and usually getting some carrots fed to them by the tourist. No casinos–this is Arizona–but a nice short diversion/break from the casinos. You can also get a decent lunch while there. Enjoy.

Rose and Doc and done both of these things during junket flights to Laughlin.
