Current Vegas Trip

Spread the love

Drove to Vegas from LA yesterday and it was the shortest trp time I can remember.

After checking in, found a $5 table at Harrahs on my way to check in. My first roll started with a hard 4 that was rolled right back. Then a six followed by the 7. I was still ahead by $2. After six CHers, 4 of who qualified I was still on the plus side. My next roll was nine making a point of 6 whack established again and was now uo a green and white and the table was even fuller so

i checked out and registered for the tournament.

Had a $10 match play at the redone casino. The $10 table was almost full, probably nine people but the other table a$15 only had one shooter. Started out with a point of nine and had a roll of 5 with nothing I collected on and I was now down.

CHer had a roll of 9 which didn’t pass the five count. I started my next roll with a hard 10 and it took me 78 rolls to repeat it, but I had 3 6/8 winners. Came out on the 9 and colluded repeat it but did have 2 more rolls I collected on. I was up over a green so decided I don’t have a betting plan I’m comfortable with for a $15 table. I was ahead over a green again as I cashed out.

Went back to where I was staying and bought in at a half full $10 table.. Then noticed another $10 table was opening up so moved to it.

Didn’t bet on first shooter and my roll nine and I was a up a single digit. All four of the next shooter qualified but I lost money on each of them.

Next shooter started off milking his first point of 6 right back ank then made a nine shortly thereafter. He wound up with a four roll, including 12 sixes and two 8 that I was on and I had doubled my buying and cashed out even though I would have gotten the dice after the next Cher.

Was satisfied with this start for the trip.

I’ll make day two shorter than day one.

I know that I can’t expect to make money on CFers even using them only if they qualify.

When we went by the table it was fairly full so we went to breakfast first. Even later it was still full so we wandered next door and found a $5 table with only two players.

CFer had a roll of 29 with a lot of 5s that I made a little on and next CFer had a roll of 10 that I lost on. My roll was a point of 8 and then 3 rolls later the sever came, with nothing I collected on. CFer had another good roll of 22 ande I colored up with a small triple digit win.

Next two casinos had nothing except crowded $10 tables so we went across Flamingo where I found another $5 table that was not to full. My first roll was a seven that I collected on 4 6/8 for a small single digit win. Table became fuller and two CFer didn’t qualify. Two of the CHers I lost on and two of them I made money on and was single digit ahead when I got the dice.

I was using come betting but placing the 6/8 if they weren’t the point. I made points of 5, 9, 6 and when I sevened out I had all the points covered and had 3 at max odds with an additional place/buy bet. 13 of the rolls were 6/8.About the last 10 rolls I was racking more than a green chip on each roll. I had only one non-point roll in the 25 rolls I had. Cashed out a mid triple digit winner and went to the VP tournament session.

Only had a score of less than 700 in a 10 minute session, but half the people will win so I’m not too disappointed.

Next stop was a$10 table with only two others. First roll was an 11 to start and that was also the length of the roll with only one point made. Made a little on one of the others and didn’t have a bet on the other. Started my second roll with a CO 7, and only made one point. Wasn’t come betting at this $10 table, but had 11 6/8 and only three 4 non craps number on a total roll of 33. I made 125% of my buy in and left the table with my best win this trip even though I had on point seven on my last roll.

After dinner I tried once more and even though I had a PSO and a roll of six I was up over 30% of my buy in.

My average for the seven rolls was 12.7 and my SRR was a respectable 9.0. Have had a loss session this trip.

Even thought there are no responses to day I’ll finish up day three since I don’t expect to play tomorrow before we leave.

Day three broke the no loss at a session.

First casino, started off with a point of 4 that came right back. This was followed by a point of 5 with the seven next. Down at the start.

Next shot started off with a seven and seven, then a point of nine right back. Next point a four and then the seven out on roll number 8.

Then the last two shots at this casino were PSOs. Some CFers had some rolls I made money on, but still left me down 1/3 of my buy in.

Found another $5 table and started out with rolls of 5, 4, 4 and 8 with the 8 being the only one I made a point on. Two CFers had PSO which I weren’t on and three CFers had rolls of 9, 13, and 9 and I actually lost on the 13 roll but made a little on each of the nines.

My next roll was a 14 and I made points of 5, 6 and 5 and though I had turned the corner even though I was still in a loss position. Not to be, my next two rolls were craps, point seven out and 5 with no winners so left with the first session loss for this trip.

Broke from craps to play in the section session of the VP tournament. Sally and I both did poorer than the first session and didn’t win any free play.

Had to play on $10 table and had rolls of 8, 6, 8 and 11 at an empty table and was down only single digit. CFer had a roll of 11 that I was a small loser on. I had a roll that started out with 4 naturals but after a point of fife I coundn’t hit any winner and was still a small loser on that roll. After two CFers who PSO I had a roll of 12 starting off with 2 naturals and a sever that a made a small profit on.

Two CFers at the table and one that didn’t qualify and I was a single digit winner on the other. I had an empty table again and had rolls of 2 and 7. Followed by rolls of 9 and then 26, Which was a 4 number FB winner that no one was on. I quit down mid double digit. Another session loss.

After eating supper found a $5 table that was just opening and had rolls of 6 which I made a single digit on and two rolls of 5 each of which I was mid double digit loser on.

All in all, in was an enjoyable trip and I made 2.5 times my buy in. Sally was a small net winner also. Over the 3 days I threw the dice 27 times with an average roll of 8.4. My SRR on the rolls where I was not setting for a sever was 6.4 which overall is about what I usually obtain.
