Craps

COMING BACK

Spread the love

As some of you may know I have spent three sessions in the hospital so far this year (3 weeks, 2 weeks, and 2 days) with three near death experiences. Since coming home I have not been able to practice because I am on oxygen and have had unsteady balance UNTIL ONE WEEK AGO.

Yesterday, Clark and I went to one of the casinos for a comped meal and to get me out of the house for awhile. After completing the meal we made our way to the craps table which was virtually empty. Clark took the dice and rolled a nice money-making 24 roll with the eight repeating itself as the point three times. He then asked if I wanted to give it a shot and I said yes. I set the dice and established the six as my point. I then rolled the six right back. Next I had the ten as my point and a few rolls later made my point. The third point was the eight but I was not able to make this point; however, I did have a roll well into the 20’s and felt like I had gotten back on the bicycle.

I intend to take it easy and ease myself back into the game but WOW, did it feel good to not only handle the dice but to make money as well.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers as I continue making my recovery. I still have a long way to go.

Lois

Craps is a good tonic for what ails you. Glad you are getting back into the pendulum swing of things.

I’m sorry I didn’t get to meet Lois will I was in NV, however, I hope I get a chase when I return later this year. I am so happy you had an opportunity to "get back on the bicycle" and play again and find success. It’s nice to hear you are feeling better.

Glad to hear you are on the road back. I played with Clark last summer in Laughlin when you were up in the room not well. I have followed your progress on the board and glad you are just about back. How is the new house? When I am next down in Pheonix and planning a trip to Laughlin or Vegas I will let you guys know.

All the best on the recovery

Thanks to all for your kind remarks. I have been back in the casinos for about two weeks now and have had more long rolls than short ones. There is something to be said for muscle memory. (Or is it the oxygen tank that I have to drag around with me! LOL)

We have made many wonderful friends in all parts of the country. Since I will not be traveling much for the foreseeable future, please look us up when coming to Vegas. We would love to see you, shoot with you, and especially to visit with you.

Good to hear that you are both making the rounds again. I can’t join Drag Boat and the others in July, but I will get out there soon to get together!
