A few weeks ago at an Atlantic City casino that is still standing I encountered the hole. The other craps tables were full and I saw a crew getting ready to open another table. I quickly ran over and took my SR1. There were two other people waiting as well. I saw a dealer playing around with the felt in front of me. He was moving felt fibers back and forth trying to cover a hole in the felt. No can do. He spoke to the box who called the pit boss. Pit boss called management. For 20 minutes nothing happened. Were they going to close the table and open up a different one? The decision was to play it as it lay. It was not going to effect me, since I was shooting right to left. Now the table got very crowded. I shot and left. Too crowded for me. I never found out how the left side did. Did a die enter the hole? If so, what was the rule? I don’t know.
