Over the last several years I have played with to many to count new students, all wondering how they are doing.

Lately I have read many posts wondering how I am doing as a new student, here is what I have seen.

One your arm swings are very rarely straight, or you open your hands at release almost everyone of you do this along with a lot of others who have played this game along time myself included.

You flip your wrist.

Last but not least that is hitting the same spot, if you can not hit the same spot you are throwing the dice different every time that is not control that is like walking the basses loaded and wondering why you lose all the time.

Theses are the basics with out them it is tuff, so go to school take notes do what they teach.

I have seen throws that are all over the table and they get hot and when they do they get hot but not over the long haul Patricia D has the world record and she just picked them and flicked them she got hot.

So find some one to play with and listen to them, they can help, it can even be a newbie yes all of us no the basics and we know what to look for, the basics will get you far.

So live long and prosper.

Bman I think it would be interesting to see on many you see in a year . Then see if they improved in say 2 or 3 yrs if they are still trying .
To bad you did not keep a log of who you played with and when .
I think you have played with more then any one that I know of .
This is not an easy thing to do .You are right about taking notes and going to school .
I have been throwing dice since the early 70s and only doing it the GTC way for a few years so I know it is hard to break old habits .
When people talk about golfers and base ball players I think boy a lot of them started when they were less then 20 so they had less bad habits to deal with . Just a thought .
Do you remember the first person you meet out side of class and when that was.
Is that person still throwing ?
Hope to see you in Vegas .
Good Rolling. 🙂 🙂

Bman, you are correct. Rose and Doc see students who have many flaws in their throws as well making many betting mistakes—like getting too much on the table too early, making prop bets from the middle of the table, etc.

I think it would be well worth while for any former student to take a refresher class, tune up or elite video. Remember the golf pros who are winning on the PGA tour take lessons on a regular basis. We are no different.

At the very least come to a class weekend for the open house we can take a quick look at your throw and get you pointed in the right direction. We can also suggest that you may need more help than we can give you in a few minutes and suggest you take a refresher course which will give much more in depth instruction by all the GTC instructors.

Hope to see everyone soon.

BMan, you are an icon! It’s been some years, thankful for your hospitality and friendship!

What ever happened to our buddy, the drone pilot?..

Funny how you mention the arm swing not being straight. You pointed that out when we played. Next morning I had a much better roll. It was too bad you got called home early.

Ever find any "O"? 🙂

Well I guess I’m just easy to forget. We both shoot SR, but I shot SL to let you have the spot. You corrected my thinking on that!
Saw each other again at Video Elite class, Vegas, & I was still using the "glued" dice to practice. Reminded you I still owe you dinner.

Always..Shoot with passion..& you do.

The first time we meet you stayed at the quad to start in a room fit for a king lmao I was at the flamingo where we practiced and you told stories of selling some of you creations right off your hand.

You are not forgotten nor will you ever be.

How was the wedding?

I thought I had reply yesterday….guess not. Hurt my feelings I’m not on your list. You brought pizza, told me I had a cruddy room. We played.
We both shot from SR, but I shot from SL (being nice I thought) you blasted me for not bringing my best game. Then I moved to different Casino. We adjusted, ate @ KGB. Then this past Oct. you caught me using glued dice @ Fridays GT gathering. I still owe you dinner.

Shoot with passion..like bman
