During my latest excursion to LV I noticed that my concentration was far better when the music played in the Casinos was more to my liking. Now for the question, Is there a tabo on using an I-pod with Bluetooth wireless ear-buds while at the table. We all know any type of laptop, tablet, kindle or phone is a no no. Have you ever been scolded about a wireless earphone for a cell phone.
Just thinking … I know that can be frightening.

NOT ALLOWED

Ear buds are not allowed. But you can always ask. Not sure if they would allow you to have an electronic device sitting in your rails playing music. Electronic devices are not allowed at the tables. That is why you have to step away to make a phone call.

I knew the answer prior to asking, was just hoping I was wrong for once. Interesting aside though … how do they handle the large hearing aid that curls over and rides behind the ear …

Stickman wears hearing aids which are visible and I have never heard anyone say a word to him about them. In fact he takes them out when he is shooting so that he does not hear any noise. But he puts them back in when he is not shooting. So it is obvious that he has them on.

Doc wears hearing aids even whey he is shooting. No one has ever said anything. If you have ear buds that go inside your ears where they cannot be seen and are wireless, if you have the IPOD ( or what ever you call it) sending your a music and only you can hear in your pocket or perhaps a holder like the one you use for your cell phone, how could anyone know?
I personally would not use it, but just curious what others might think.

Again on this latest trip I observed a few of the Dealers wearing small ear hearing protectors. Most were the soft foam ones that used to be given out by the Airlines or used at the Range, however, one had on a pair that were connected together by a string/lanyard.

Wireless and ear buds …. I would give it a shot!
I know I love to hear music that I love when I shoot … a little Sinatra goes a long way! 😀
The best casino for this, IMHO, in the OLD days was The Horseshoe in Tunica when Binion still owned it. The craps tables were right by the band and they always played some great rock and roll. I just loved it there!
