The Player: Secrets of a Vegas Whale…Now out on Netflix

Spread the love

A documentary expose about Don Johnson, the advantage player that won $15 in AC last year. Insiders say that it was actually considerably more than $15 million, but Don is not talking.

Also, pay attention to Gary Loveman towards the beginning of the show when he says "Neither could we or would we bar you as a player" when he is asked by the host of the show "was Don banned because he is too good".

What a schmuck! Harrah’s properties will ban you for taking an extra piece of chicken in the buffet line!

I though it was an interesting show, not real insightful to most of us that are in advantage game circles, but interesting nevertheless.

Pit Boss; I watched last night. I thought it was pretty well done. Not much new but rather insightful as to the future of Vegas. DoughBoy

Would love to know what tables that he pulled that off on

Definitely didn’t win it on CF-ers

And, I’m in AC once every two-three weekends — he surely wasn’t on any of the table that I’ve seen

I thought he won his money playing blackjack on a private table the casino reserved just for him over the course of several days.

The Lion;

He did not win any of this money on craps, it was all on BJ

I just re-checked Netflix, and it’s on there.

But here is link to Bloomberg who produced the piece. http://www.bloomberg.com/video/the-player-secrets-of-a-vegas-whale-p5Yp8AANTVeqa1_MXspl5A.html
