We actually left home on Saturday, 2/15, to get away from another snow fall. We went to Cape May for an antique show on Saturday, and a wine festival at the Hawk Haven Winery on Sunday. The winery had a heated tent with two musicians, wines by the glass, and a catering company with small hot and cold snacks that were delicious. We stayed at the Albert Stevens B&B, where the owners make a 3 course hot breakfast every morning. From 4-5 there is "tea" with cheese and crackers, wine, sherry, and cookies or cake, coffee, tea, and in winter, warm apple cider. This is all served in an enclosed porch, or one could eat in the dining room. It is immaculately clean, and is close to the center of town, with parking. (The last a must.) As with most of Cape May, the Inn is a charming Victorian house. In the center of town is a pedestrian street lined with shops and restaurants. I always go to the fudge chocolate store because they have sugar free chocolates and give a senior discount. I bought my usual assortment, and asked for my senior discount as the total was about to be rung up. "You need to be 62 for the discount," the sales lady responded, with a huff. Sandtrap and I started laughing, told her she was 10 years off, and I said I wouldn’t mind not having the discount because I was so happy with the complement. I’m not sure she believed us, but she did give me the discount. I walked away extremely happy.
We arrived at our casino Monday (after our scrumptious breakfast). Due to a convention, a free bet, a matchplay, a free buffet, and bingo at 2pm and 7pm, the casino was bursting at the seams, and we never could get on the craps table. We played Pai Gow instead, and I had a nice profit for the day thanks to four 2’s.
Tuesday Sandtrap’s first roll was a nice 24, hitting the small, tall, and all, and followed it with an 18 and a 9 roll. I only managed a 10, and a point 7. The rest of the day was Pai Gow, and I decided to learn three card poker since one of our favorite dealers was on the table. Initially, I couldn’t get any good cards, and was down $150 out of a $200 buy-in. Then, all of a sudden, as does happen, the cards turned, and I was even when Sandtrap came to get me for dinner. At our table was a 92 year old woman, who was having a very good time. When she left, I said I hoped I was still playing at her age in 20 years. The woman next to me said, "You can’t be 72! You don’t have any wrinkles. How do you do it?" "No sun on my face," I replied, but my daughter and daughter-in-law won’t listen to me," and the woman laughed. Back to Pai Gow after dinner, where I was dealt four 7’s, and had another nice profit for the day.
Wednesday was another crowded day due to a free gift. However, we did get on the table early, where a gentleman was playing with $500 chips. Sandtrap started off with a 19 roll, hitting the tall, making that man several thousands of dollars. When he left, he gave the dealers $25. I didn’t do anything, nor did Sandtrap after his first roll, so we left for Pai Gow and 3 card poker. After dinner we were finally successful getting on a table when they opened a second one. I had a 41 roll with ten 6’s, eleven 8’s, and also made the 4, the 10, the 9, and the 5 as my other points. There were a few craps numbers, but the only 7 was the last roll. On my side, an old man was playing the don’t come, and kept landing on the 6 or 8 and losing his bet. 🙂 He finally stopped mid way. Ivy from GTC was on the right side, and men at her end were also on the don’t, and kept saying, "Who is that lady? Look how she shoots!" Ivy said, "She’s my friend!!" They never came off the don’t, but left the table instead.
Another couple was playing, and the wife came up to me to say she loved the way Sandtrap and I shoot and play together. She said she has to send her husband to another table. She also said they read our web site, and would like to take the class in March in AC. I gave her the phone number to call Dom. She said they have read up a lot on the GTC way, and practice, so I hope they do take the class.
Thursday I managed two rolls of 29 and 15, but Sandtrap couldn’t get anything going. We ate breakfast, and left early, after saying goodby to the above couple and Ivy and Reggie.
We are looking forward to seeing all our friends, and making new ones next month.

Your 41 roll was amazing. I wish I was there. 41 with the 7 appearing only at the end. My come bets would have produced a lot of income. Please save some rolls for when I see you at class in March !!
All the best to you and Sandtrap.

I want to touch on one of your comments regarding turning other interested people onto GTC. It would be nice if we could get some kind of business cards to hand out to interested people that would give the website and contact information and possible a code number for a short guest membership to the blog. I ran into a very nice young lady in Albuquerque the week that was doing a great job dice setting but that was all. But she was surprisingly very successful in hitting numbers. I ran into later off of the table and asked her how she had learned about dice setting and throwing and she said she had been studying videos on the internet. She knew nothing about GTD or Dom or Franks books or the blog. I tried to give her all the info I thought she need regarding the site, books etc and the Golden Touch Craps But it would have been nice to give her a card with info. This has happened several times in my travels and put it out to all GTC as a suggestion.

A GTC card would be handy. Will see what Dom and Finesse think about this.
