Craps

You never know …. Group outing

Spread the love

I received a text from one of the fellows that was in my class about meeting up with him and a few others for some shooting. I spent the five days prior to the event practicing my throws and recording them in smart craps. So, the night before the meet, I looked at my SRR and everything, and it just wasn’t well. I told Scooter that I was having a rough SRR for the past few days, and that it may not be good for me to meet up with them. He replied that I throw good, and that it will come. So I went …

We all arrived at the predetermined location around 11 in the morning. The first table we tried, no one was really able to do anything, quite a few point number outs. They were going to be opening another table, so we all left the first table, and waited for it. The first few shooters, things were going a little better, but not much. Thanks for the earlier encouragement, and hearing one of the dealers talk about our throw, and how we must have paid someone to teach us in a garage, and that we all must have wasted our money (reminded me of the dealer from the video that said something like ‘oh, a couple of guys with a system’) …. well, I ended up, according to scooter, having a hand of 25, plus hitting the small/all/tall feature. This put all of us, either ahead, or in my case back to even since I don’t bet a lot on the feature since I want to win on repeaters more than that. There were a few other decent hands after that as well.

I ended up leaving the table for a while as I was getting tired, and came back later. Most of the other guys were getting ready to leave, but I decided to stay for a few more rolls. There was only 2 of us ‘controlled’ shooters on the table, with a few other non-shooters. I ended up having another decent hand (not sure as he doesn’t count, and I was just trying to concentrate) but hit the feature bet again. This put both of us in the positive territory. We stayed around until we both got to shoot again, only about a hand of 6 or 8 each, then colored up and left.

All in all, it just goes to show, that even if you have a string of ‘bad days’, you can come out and do well. By the time I left, the dealers knew me by name, and, the one never made another comment about the way I or we were shooting. Granted, I was placing a lot of dealer bets, which they capitalized on quite a few times. Actually they were saying how strong my shooting was going, and telling the others that I hit the feature twice already. At one time he asked how much to come get a class for shooting in my garage (if I heard them correctly). I just said something along the lines of ‘go to WWW.YOUTUBE.COM, and you will learn all you need to know, as that’s what I did’, with a little laughter.

Now to relax, and get geared up for the next time out!!!!

Till next time

Guys,
I’m sure most of you are tired of shooting at a table that is full of "chicken feeders. The guys that randomly heave the dice. The outing was an attempt to staff the table with SHOOTERS in the right positions and fill the table with friends that wanted to see the GTC method in person. The 12 foot table fits 10-12 and we took up 9 spots. The non-SHOOTERS were suppose to pass the dice and let the SHOOTERS.

The concept was sound, but some guys still wanted to be the hero and fling them from the end. At the end of the session they admitted it was a mistake. We coined this event "Assault on the HMS Bounty". All in All it was a good session. Final count of the crew ended with two casualties, 7 winners. All in All the 7 winners looted the HMS Bounty for $10,600 using this FREEZE-OUT strategy on chicken feeders.

Having seen my fellow class mate throw before I knew he could do it.
