interesting post. Thanks for putting on the board. Have been to Wendover a couple of times several years ago on a free junket trip and in my humble opinion there are a lot better places to go where there is no heat–even if I have to pay for air fare.

Amen to that Doc, about 8 years ago I was banned at one of the casinos there. Bought in for 500 won about a hundred.

Those small towns can be scary. Phewww

You need to have an extraction team on speed dial if playing there.

Interesting — I was in Wendover back in January 2012 (1 year and 3 months before I took the GTC class in March Atlantic City 2013) and after one year+ of shooting/practicing, I thought about flying to Salt Lake and driving 100-120 miles thru the Salt Flats and return to Wendover.

However, hearing this story, I may just pass on that trip

If they understood the math, they would not be afraid. Most of these guys are greedy, street thugs with hardly any education at all that get juiced in to their jobs.

that is an excellent set for out side numbers. that is the same one we used
at practice.

I am glad you had fun at Wendover, it is interesting to try to roll when you
know they dont want you to.

We are heading out as you know Friday, i told Sue i will head for Laughlin
one day, not to play but just to buy in at the trop. Peter will tell me i cant
roll, so i will just stand there waiting for some one else to play.

I understand this really not an adult thing to do, but on the other hand
i just want to see how red his face can get.
He has given me alot of trouble for doing nothing, so i will do nothing
and see if i can return the favor.

I will be nice, and as he tells me i cant roll, i will say i understand that, and i
dont want to create any problems for you, i will just stand here and wait until
some one comes along that you will allow to throw. then i will use the five
count. He will start aksing why i am not betting since i am standing there , and it is not
fair to all those that are not here if i take up a place at the table. I will tell him since my
5th heart attack, the doctor said i could play, but i have to really take it easy.
By the way can i use a chair since i have this medical problem.

GMAN This guy is not there 24/7 . Just play when he is not there . I myself avoid playing there for similar reasons .I just don’t carry on a talk that leads no were that I want to go .It is not worth a heart attack .
I just say OK . ( I know its their game and they make up their own rules at times .)
One good thing that I see is happening in our favor is that there have be cuts in the pits in some casinos so the critters are not always there to bother us .
I like the second casino from the bridge across the road . I started going to Laughlin when there were 3 casinos .So have seen a lot of changes .

I know Davedeporker liked the tables there .But that has been awhile . I don’t know what has happened to him since he moved back East .
You now have 13 casinos to choose from . Some give no heat to our way of play while others do .
