Things have been quiet from gold country. Hope Lefty and Butch have been successful working the claim. I hope to be able to lend a hand in the near future.

times to close out 2013, all wins. With the ground and the creeks frozen Lefty rode
out of Colorado to Palm Springs where he traded in his gold pan for golf clubs and he
and his wife will be there until February.
Butch is busy packing up his big covered wagon for 47 days in the Arizona desert.
With no table to practice on it is back to the throwing stations, which are already
loaded, along with dice, gripper, chips, and his reference books, and notes.
Watching and waiting for a break in the weather, Butch and his wife will travel
one day to Albuquerque to pick up gas money and then on to Gold Canyon, Arizona.
Accompanying Butch is Curly Dale, who is a placer mining specialist. The two have a
spot near Yuma where they have been finding lots of gold nuggets with metal dectors.
Curly will also assist Butch in his quest for a lost treasure somewhere south of Tucson.
This years search will include aerial surveillance with a drone with an infrared camera.
Butch and Lefty won’t be mining together again until after the class in AC in March.
Surely Butch will ride into Laughlin a couple times and Vegas just to stay sharp. Maybe
even a trip to Biloxi in February.
