Craps

Welcome to Craps in Eastern Oregon

Spread the love

No hassles, no need to hit the back wall, take your time setting the dice and if you aren’t paying attention with your odds bets they pay you he 50 cents with half dollars. I was the only one tipping and they were very appreciative to say the least – like they had never seen anyone place the dollars bets for them. They even won when I covered the hard ways number for them with four bucks. Mostly all young people running the tables.

Just don’t play tired and worn out after a long day – the one thing I do when I travel for work and it is my biggest mistake! I swear after tonight I will never play tired again!

After a good weekend of practice and very good rolls to screw up on the real deal because I’m tired. Had about three decent rolls in the mid to high teens and maybe one of those was actually in the low twenties, but that didn’t make up for the other short rolls. I basically had the table to my self as the other two guys rarely made it past the five count. Rolled for about 90 minutes straight about 10-12 rolls. All of the good rolling was in the first 30 minutes. Dah!

It is hard not to play when tired and that is the only opportunity we have to roll in a game we love. It is a lesson we all have learned—usually in an expensive way. If you can pass the opportunity to play when tired you are on the way to becoming an advantage player.

Good post.

Richard; I sure hear you on that one. Doc, that is the truth. I don’t get the chance to escape my business that often and when I get the chance to roll I’m like a kid in a candy store. My wife reminds me now and I do listen to her advice but it is difficult to say the least and it is always at my expense. Now the first thing I do when I arrive is take a nap and thankfully I’m an expert at taking a nap. I am always up since two thirty in the morninng so I am always tired when I arrive. In fact the best is when I don’t even play the first day but save it for the second day. I’m learning and my throw keeps progressing. I have saved so much money just practicing my throw and doing all my own betting and payoffs. I hope to throw with both of you one day. I’m glad to know they have craps in Oregon. California craps is a joke. Thanks for the report. DoughBoy
