,while playing today at my favorite place I was informed they how have new manager who observed some one standing on a box and missing the back wall
new policies if u standing sl1 sr1 and missing they are tossing u out so hitt the wall at the Rio or get tossed out.

I played down town and they jumped all over me about hitting the back wall and I was not on a box and was at the hook. No other place on table and just wanted to see how crew was . Lost 3.00 and tipped them 17.00 . I told them that when they reach the dice to me THAT THEN i WILL START HITTING THE BACK WALL .LOL I HIT THE BACK WALL ON THE NEXT ROLL BUT THEY DID NOT PASS THE DICE TO ME with in reach .I told them that I did my part of the agreement but they did not .So lets get this right I am short and need not have to reach out on my tipsy toes to get the dice. lol Then they started to be nicer. I was the only one tipping and they did thank me when I left .I have not been back since but this shows you that no matter were you stand or on what they want you to hit the back wall .
I think that the way we throw draws enough heat let alone standing on a box or wearing shoes . Just my .01 worth .
This last trip got no heat at all except the dealers wanting me to make fire bets which I made one for them and me . Which I lost .Was on tables that made a 4 fire 2 times and one table that made a 5 .No one made a 6 fire on any of tables I played on .
At one table the players were worried about getting paid for the fire .They did not know how they paid it just that they were on it and wanted their money .
I think that they do not like it when you roll the dice out to see some numbers that you like . I have heard them say many times no rolling the dice forward or we will have to call it a roll . You can roll back but not forward .

Hitting the back wall is something we must all do always. That is the rule, we teach it, and everyone must follow it. It is by not following the casino rules that we draw attention to ourselves, and cause them to reprimand us.
Just a reminder that we are all representatives of GTC, and how we comport ourselves at the tables reflects on us all.

I agree with you except that I have been told to hit the back wall after the FIRST throw which ALWAYS hit the back wall . It is a shot that I set the dice but fling them down the table . So I do believe it is just setting the dice gets their attention . I had one dealer after 4 or 5 hrs play told me that I only try hitting the wall on the first roll . Like I did not hit the wall during that whole 3 or 4 hrs. RIGHT .
I also think lady’s get less heat just from rolling for 40 yrs. I have not seen that many that set the dice though .
It seems that if you miss the wall one time nothing is said if it is a casino that usually gives no heat , But if you miss it 3 times things do change at times even if you are not setting the dice . I have seen them get on players that don’t set the dice too.
A few years ago I and a few GTCers went to a casino to shoot . At the time I had not taken the class yet .WE all had a good laugh after I was told that I could not throw the dice any more but could gamble all I wanted . I ended up tipping about 12.00 with a loss of 90.00 for that session . The others made money on my rolls tho. I was just on the 6 and 8 with no come bets . It turned out good for them do to repeat numbers rolled that I was not on . All the rest of players at table that were not GTC could not believe what they said to me . I just said OK and went to a slot machine to wait for the others to finish their rolls . Not to let the casino know that I was with them .They all got thank yous and come back any time . So I was out of position and the GTC person next to me wanted me to move over but I thought that would bring more attention to us . After missing the wall 3 times in 10 throws I know they were going to say some thing . Just not what they did since I was not making a dime . I think they told me one time to hit the back wall and after that I started hitting it but then it was to late . Did not say a word except OK .
I could hear the other players when I was leaving saying to the dealers that was wrong . It did put a little smile on my face that players other then GTCers though that it was wrong too.
You just never know how each dealer is going to handle it .The rules are not set in stone and they make them up as they go at times . If they are having a bad day it may turn into a bad day for you too .

It is so dealer dependent. Sometimes even after the first roll and the dice do hit the wall they will say something. They are just trying to make a point
