Trip Report-CCBH Chapter three

Spread the love

As the flood waters slowly receded from the small towns to the NW of Denver
Butch and Lefty returned to the casinos. Mondays trip up resulted in an uneventful
session where Lefty’s final hand of 21 put them in the win column, enough for gas tor the truck
and a cup of coffee.
Thursdays trip was the opposite. Butch and Lefty are no longer unknowns, when arriving at the table
the locals quickly fill up the rest of the table. Elbow to elbow the Gang of Crazycrappers holler and scream for Butch or Lefty to do it again. After getting down nearly half of their bye-in and Lefty wanting
to take a break, Butch gets the dice and rolls an 18 with nice hits. Lefty throws a nice 16 but it has lots of horn numbers and the Gang is getting heated up with all their prop bets.
After a bathroom break for Butch, his first toss is a 5 followed by a 4, he puts odds on the 4 and gets a 6
and then placed the 8. The next 15 rolls sees Butch make the 5 and come out on the 5 four times in a
row and hitting the six in between. Lefty is in the game but the 5 count has him way behind Butch on
pressing. After making points of 6 and 9 Butch is back on the 5. At roll 36 the 4 is finally made and the
game comes to a halt, the open side of the table is out of chips, the boxman hanging at a blackjack table is
rounded up to move the chips from the closed end of the table so the dealer can finish paying everyone.
The table is now surrounded by onlookers. The landing zone which was vacant is now filled with people and
hands on the rail and cheering. Butch lasts for 3 more sixes and two eights before ending his roll.

The Gang of crazycrappers couldn’t believe it when Butch and Lefty colored up and left the table. Everyone
made a lot of money, but Butch and Lefty took theirs home. The Gang stayed to try and rekindle the magic.

Butch and Lefty in need of a vacation are now moving their game to the desert southwest to meet up with
Doc Holliday and the Earp brothers.

Questions abound:
Will their continued success mean an end to the Golded Goose?
Does Butch’s special set for small numbers really work or was it just the variance?
How long will the winning streak continue?
Will Lefty’s wife finally come over to the craps table?
Will one more Elite Video move Butch to the next level?

Answers in the coming months.
