During the last refresher in Las Vegas was probably the most I have ever thrown in the shortest amount of time. I noticed a major difference in my skills but also began to notice other things I hadn’t noticed before. In particular was the major difference that new dice make on the out come of your throw. I bought a stick of green and a stick of red dice while I was at the class and decided that I would change out a pair every two weeks just to see if I could tell the difference and wow. Yes they make a big difference and I instantly noticed the change and how my rolls were changing. I had to really adjust to the new dice and then it dawned on me – maybe this is what was part of my problem when I went to the casino and couldn’t get nearly the same outcomes as I was getting at home. I am now a confirmed practice with new dice person – you play with sharp dice at the casino practice with sharp dice. I have also recovered my practice table and noticed a difference there as well – not as forgiving with new fabric.
Another lesson learned.
