I have noticed the dice double pitch more when the hit the wall on the way up than when they hit the wall on the way down. Should the dice hit the back wall on the way down? (This is after they hit the table).

I have noticed the same thing.
I don’t know that I have seen it addressed before.
My guess based on my own experience is on the way down.
Less forward energy left in the dice therefore softer contact with the wall.
I am sure it won’t be long before someone gives us the real answer.
Great question, I will be standing by for the answer myself.

Then, run the dice down the pyramids, and you will see and feel the dice hit the flat parts of the pyramids. Thus, the dice can fall to the table and stop.

I am having problems understanding the Goddesses comments regarding hitting the pyramids on the way down? I know when I get those close to the wall jump up and hit the bottom of the pyramids and bam straight back down and stop but I need to understand how to hit the pyramids on the way back down. Higher bounces off the initial hit? Trajectory? Your help is appreciated.

Too many variables.
Hope for the best, is my guess.
The pyramids do have a sinister purpose.
The casinos put them there, not for our enjoyment.
Waiting for an interesting answer, myself.
But not holding my breath. Good luck.

If they are hitting the wall on the way up it is more likely that they are yawing and going to the side in opposite directions.
You need to note ALL of the dice faces not just the top faces to know for sure. If one goes left and the other goes right look at the vertical faces. This happens often when they hit the wall on the way up.
