More Big Thrills Planned for Strip: As if the epidemic of observation wheels, arenas, and zip lines wasn’t enough, now an Australian entrepreneur apparently has plans to introduce a wakeboarding, snowboarding, surfing, and white-water rafting experience in the vicinity of the Las Vegas Strip, reports Vegas Inc. Aussie businessman Josh Kearney hopes to open a $50 million 40-acre amusement park by the end of 2014 and is currently scouting locations for the well-named Vegas Extreme project, which will also include motocross, a white sand beach, and zip lines, naturally … if financing and a location are secured.
