I know AC is going to be loaded with GTCers starting tomorrow and many stay through part or all of the next week. So I do expect we might see a slippage in posts on the board, especially if some of our big posters are at the tables.
Maybe this would be the time for some lurkers to get their posting-feey wet?
Well, I am packing now and getting ready to head out. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
Frank
PS: When at the tables, please follow the 20 Commandments. 😀

Nah, we’re Semi lurkers as opposed to Professional lurkers, which is in contrast to junkie lurkers. And a direct descendant of constipated lurkers … Those are the ones that are full of shit but still won’t post. 😉 😉 😉 😉

see i am old i cant understand everything, if that is not bad enough i spent 4 hours last night waiting for
my spot to open at the tables, went to the bath room and came back only to find some one taking
it. that was the only guy that moved from stick left 1 all night out of both tables… thse guys are worse than
lurkers, what we need is like a handicapped spot like the parking lot… this space saved for GTC members.
see that makes sense to me

The more he shakes them the more he thinks the table is going to get hot.

What is it, they want to talk to the stickman and get advice?
Nothing better than helping myself to sl1 next to that guy who is floating around inbetween stick left one and stick left two.
I’ll ask someone to move over if he is more towards sl2, but if he’s inbetween sl1 and sl2 and hogging the spots, then I just move in.

TP1, I could not agree more. I like you move in. I go for the rail where there is no money(sl1 or sl2), and as I step in I politely say, "you don’t mind if I throw from here – Do you?" to the guy taking up two spots. I always say it loud enough so the boxman hears me. I have never been denied.

It is my experience I am really asking the boxman for permission to throw from the empty spot. Unless the guy taking up two spots is a big John for the house or big George for the dealers I have never been told to go to some other opening. Particularly this is true when Sl3 is occupied. If it is not then take the spot as it becomes sl2 as it becomes yours with the placement of your tokens.
Now, I have been in a particular casino where my player card is not rated as high as someone else’s, and I have been moved down a spot, (by the pit boss or boxman) even though I was the first to place my card in the sl1 tray before the table opens.
Today is a good day to be throwing, I just wish I were in a casino instead of at practicing at home. 😀 😀

I like to play on empty tables but they seem to fill up real fast. Did get over to the casino that we talked about. Did good there just before we headed home.Since there was no one playing the dealers were real nice. They were getting into it more then I liked.I think that they thought that their loud voices would bring more players.
Had 3 guys looking for awhile.
While I was there the 9 must have been rolled 40 or 50 times.ONE ROLLER ROLLED IT 3X IN A ROW BEFORE HE ROLLED THE 6 OR 8 i WAS ON THEN HE ROLLED IT AT LEAST 7 MORE TIMES.
Good Rolling.

Even though this subject doesn’t coincide with any of the 20 Commandments I feel it should be considered for inclusion. We are constantly harping on GTCer’s not to call negative attention to themselves and thru association us. This is a good example, especially on an empty table or not full. Why on earth would you want to call attention to yourself by barging or forcing your way onto the table at SL/R 1 in this manner. If the crew knows you and asks the occupant to move down that’s one thing but to impose yourself is something different.
Playing under the radar, meek and mild should be the way.
To answer your question B-man … First, I don’t play on a full or close to full table, not when I know there’s another somewhere that’s not full. Second, if that’s the only spot open and I should ask were the person to refuse I would thank him and move on. No sense in making a fuss or calling attention to myself. The Crew is going to figure out what I’m about soon enough without making trouble for myself.

I donk ask any one to move, but what i find funny is a bunch of people that dont beleive in
dice control that have to have sl1. If you dont beleive in dice control why and the hell do
you care where your shouting from???????
I played poker in 60 man event Saturday and got 5th for $500, then went to table, there is
only 1 guy there, he knows where i shoot from, so i watched some and he went from$100 to $10
back to $100 back $10 and on and on. so i did not play, took my money and went to the kitchen to
make spahetti or how ever you spell it for 300 people for Lions club.
So now i am a well paid, lions cooking, soon to be fishing lurker, looking forward to 4 days in Laughflin
in April with Lois and Clark and will be sending a Road map " to Bman just in case.
