Harrah’s has a new tier score program this year

If you earn 500 tier credits in one day they will give you 125 bonus credits.

If you earn a thousand in one day they will give you 1000 bonus credits.

And if you earn 2500 in one day they will give you 5000 bonus credits.

Now I no we do not play for comps but it is a huge jump in you daily tier score which is how Harrah’s basis its offers on ;that it sends you out in the mail.

If you are at like 740 tier credits for the day it might be worth it to get the other 260 to get that thousand because a adt average daily tier score of 2000 is good for a frb room, food and beverages rating, I mean you might even consider betting larger for one day and seeing the sights for the other,

To get 740 one day one and 740 on day two takes more playing than it would to get 1000 on day one at which point you get the thousand bonus point giving you a 1000 point daily average which is more bang for the buck by far just a thought

Now remember that pai gow is a great game for gathering tier points on and it has a very low house edge and can be fun and as skinny points out the house edge is 1.47 and can even go lower depending on others at the table.

Now for all the husbands whose wife’s do not like craps this is a great game and it doesn’t have the huge house advantage that slots have, gtc has taught it from time to time so remember when you are in a group or just by your self maybe give the dice a break and reward yourself with a relaxing game that can help out your comp rating out, a little free food never hurt anyone.

Also re member that certain Harrah’s offers reward credit multipliers on a daily basis this to can greatly increase your comp balance,so ask about that at your local casino.

Getiing tier points like that on table games, particularly craps will be very difficult. It is much easier for slot players.

That is why here in AZ. THEY CHANGED THE POINTS PAY . FROM EVERY 20.00 FOR POINT TO 80.00 GET ONE POINT. That is on craps machine.

Bman Meet a player that now only plays on his card if he can get 2500 points. He says that they made him change the way he plays to play only when he has time to get that many points .Where he used to play more often . He may play for a short time but does not use his card then . It is all in the math .
They made it harder to get to Diamond .

B’man, like the Pai iGow ( or however you spell it) idea as it also a very slow and social game with the low house age you mentioned. Good insight.

So what would 2500 in play correspond to? Most of the craps tables I have played at either play such low rewards or no rewards point for craps table play that it is not really worth getting your card out of your wallet.

We’ve been using a "3-box" count (very similar to the 5-count) and I’ve noticed a significant reduction in our comps

But, we surely don’t lose $$ like we used to — it’s a trade-off that we’ve learned to live with

they have now added another level. For 5000 tier they give you an additional 10000 tier points

Some where on this site is the basic formula for calculating this amount, to the best of my figuring it takes an average bet of around 300 for about 2 to 2.75 hours to get there but this may vary depending on where ;your action is place bets get more than come bets with odds, in some places odds get you nothing, hop bets and crazy crapper bets get the most

Each $5 played equals one tier point, this is easily seen when you play the slot machines. Table games are not as generous and much seems to depend on the supervisor over- seeing the game. TheUsualSuspect, Semper Fi carry on

It use to be the stroke of the pin . Now it is the click of the mouse . I have found that some pit critters don’t even put you in if you bet low . Also if you take a bath room break they forget to put you back in some times .If you move from one spot to another also . So if not sure after they change box person ask if you are still in the system .
I had one dealer go on his break and when he came back he asked me were I had gone .I told him that I went to the rest room one time but have been here since he left . He then said that he would fix that .I said THANK you .
Also if you tip that helps too .
I know from listening to them that they hate big betters that don’t tip period .

Finisher, you hit nail on the head when you mentioned TIPPING. The topic has been giving a lot of coverage on this site and generates more good will than we think. In February on a cruise ship a woman hit the wheel of fortune progressive slot machine for $9,300 with no tax consequences. I asked the slot attended if she tipped him and he said no. In a land casino particularly one we may frequent the rewards can show up when least expected. Ex – At a strip casino in January I had one come bet up and the shooter on the come out hit seven. The dealer failed to take down my come bet, the stick man said to me quietly, β€œyou got away with that one”, I had a least one bet for the crew when I went up on a number. A "George" is the dealers’ term for a good tipper and a "flea" is the term they use to describe someone who never tips.

Another point about tipping, you do not have to tip a lot of money to become known as a "George". A single dollar or two is all that is needed as long as you do it on a consistent basis. If you tip only when you throw the dice that is more than sufficient.

What’s a 3-box count? I’m assuming it’s three point numbers.

Thanks,

In class we are taught to give a shooter a five count before going up on numbers. A five count means hitting 5 box numbers. Craps numbers don’t count as part of the five. TheUsualSuspect, Semper Fi carry on πŸ˜€

The Usual Suspect—the 5 count as we teach it is a little different from what you said. The 5 count does not start until a box number is hit and we have a point established. After a point is established and from that point any roll that is not a 7 is counted (if he rolled a 7 the shooters turn is over). However the 5 count must end with a box number being rolled. If the count is 4 and a 2, 3, 11, or 12 is rolled the count is still 4 and holding. Now if a box number is rolled the 5 count is over and you can begin what ever bets you wish to make.

Just a little different from what you said but we did want to clarify.

Just remember that if you do like the first post said .YOU NEED TO NOT swipe your card the next day for any thing . If you do that it is another day even if you just want to see point balance .
You are dealing with programs that get activated with a swipe period .
Hosts can take into account the fact that you have less time to play when you are leaving . But the machines can not .
So if you are going to play this game you should find out how it works to your advantage .
One way is play less but more when you do play .Just a thought .
