We am not surprised. We hate to be the one to tell these "big three" but with the BJ changes that I can imagine–probably 6-5 for a BJ–and no dice setting, they will kill the games as well as shoot themselves in the foot up these in the middle of nowhere. I have only been there once but it was a great place back then.

On the other hand it may not affect them at all, as most of the players they bring in on junkets are slot players–mostly penny slots.

I got some heat in Laughflin also. The first two days i did everything wrong, i played
on tables that did not fit me, then played with another guy and did not pay as much
attention to my limits and the 5 count as normal, an i paid a price for that.

I would say Friday at dinner i was about as low as i have been since i took up
dice setting. It was a terrible feeling….. but i told myself , poor play
is not the same thing as cant do it…. so after dinner they opened the second table
which is a lower table and fits me ok, and i had a 32 and a 41.

The rest of the trip i was ok even though i had 6 losing sessions out of 9 for the trip.

Sunday noon i ran over to another, they have a nice 12 footer and good height for
me to get over… first roll was short second was looking good, my dice where
nice and i felt better and the pit boss leaned over the table and said you cant
throw like that.. i said " like he said you did not get to throw like that
by accident, they have to hit the wall much harder…well i did a little harder
and he got more upset when the next to rolls were a 6 and a hard 8…

I colored up and left……. but being told you cant throw like that because it
looked good, was a far cry from where i was Thursday night and Friday morning.

So i lost money on the trip, mostly because i did not play the way i wanted
and on tables that fit me…. mental error that cost me dearly. the good news
is that Sue and i still had a great trip with lots of fun

Next time i just need to remember the difference between advantage play
like i usually do and just play like i did.

It goes without saying, the small places will sweat the money and will hassle you.

I dont know abot wendover, but most place in Laughlin dont have any checks larger than purple, heck, some of the places we played, had only blacks. That should tell you someting when you walk up to a table like that. Get in your car N leave.

Yes I know the guy his head looks like it is going to explode when he gets upset.
