Headed to Sin City for meetings and craps!! Plus the superbowl parties.
Day 1. Arrived at airport at 8am. Who goes to Vegas at 8am was the text message I got upon arriving.
I have a rule when going to Vegas. FILO. First In and Last Out.
I always arrive early and leave late.
Arrived at the off strip casino the first day. $20 for a Suite, can’t be beat.
Steaks at "The Steakhouse" at Circus Circus, rated one of the top steakhouses in Vegas.
Go check it out, yeah I know, Circus Circus, but the steaks are awesome.
Played Craps the first night and convinced some of the guys that Dice Setting works!
Made $200 betting PassLine with odds.
Day 2 – Checked into the new Casino on strip. What a great place. All comped by the company. $200+ a night. Can’t be beat.
I could hear the wood on the craps tables as I approached them. To my Joy the All, Tall and Small wager was available.
In between meetings I played some VP and hit two royal flushes with deuces. Not big payout. But still a ROYAL!!
Played craps – was down $300. Called it a night.
Day 3. – My buddy skips out on a meeting, as I do and head down to the tables.
He shows me his ROYAL off a VP 25cent machine at the bar. He was
hiding behind a support tower playing VP out of view of the others.
He says to me "I realized something. Scared money doesn’t make money."
Said he was playing to keep his $20 going and then realized that if you play
scared, you dont win. So he switched strategy to playing for a royal and hit it on
his 2nd to last hand. Wow, cool $1000 payoff.
So as I sneak to the craps table, he tells me of his royal and that we should play craps to win.
I buy in for $300, at the $15 table after waiting for a while to get into the $10 table.
The table isnt doing well and the dice take forever to come back. I start to roll and
we have $5 each on ALL, TALL, SMALL. I only be the Fire bet or the All Tall and Small when I
my self am shooting. I hit the small and it brings me back to about
break even. The table gets cold. My only roll is about 20-22. I look over at other table
and its open. My spot (stick left) is open and I tell my bud I am leaving. He follows me over.
I set the chips down and then I realize, the Casino, changed it to a $15 table now. Oh well.
I get ready to play. We wait for the dice to come around. I am with $150 left. Not doing well
and under my $300 I started with. The table next to us, the one we left. starts to hoot and holler.
they get louder and louder. Then they explode with yelling. So we now both look over and see whats going on.
Seems like the random shooter got hot. He is only the 10 away from the All and Tall. He hit the small already.
" Dude we just left a hot table. Your going to cost us a $1000!!!. You owe me dinner if he hits it." says my bud. 😥
I start praying for a 7 to get out of a $100 dinner I might have to buy.Well the guy rolls 3 more times
and then 7. Oh well. A bit relieved that he missed it and that it just saved me $100. 😛
Well low and behold. Its my turn. I grab the dice, start betting pass line and drop a $15 on the All Tall Small.
$5 each. Same goes for my buddy and nobody else touches the bet. Little by little I am on a rolling streak.
I hit the Small. Now I am at my original buy in. I hit numbers over and over. I hit the 9 five times. 4 times in a row!
I start to get paid in Green chips. Lots of 2’s, 3’s 11’s. My set I am using is the Hardway set. This time around
I am not changing sets. When I hit 9’s and 3’s I know what my fault is and I keep the same set.
Then all of sudden I realize and my buddy points out, that I am only the 12 away from the ALL and TALL.
He says " You realize that we get paid $1000+ if you hit the 12. Then I start to shake as I pick up the dice. 😕
I am now setting for a 12. I never set for a 12. The last time I did a 7 reared its ugly head.
My hand is trembling. I pick up the dice and I split the dice. I put them back down. I grab them again, this time a clown has his hands inside the
table near my landing area. I yell out 2 times Hands out, dice are out. His buddies get him to move his hands out.
The stick guy also waves the stick at the guy telling him to move his hands. The dealers are on my side.
I had motioned the table to put in bets for the dealers and they loved it. This helped me get no heat whatsoever. 🙂
I put the dice down trying to re-grip them. I buy time by picking up a $5 chip. I thought it was a $1 and drop it down.
Pit boss had changed and he is about to say hurry up and I say, "Midnite for the Dealers. Its a bet" stays stickman. They all smile.
I look down the table, and just like that I shoot. All of sudden life goes slow motion. I can see the dice
fly threw the air so slow, I can hear my heart beat. They hit perfect
avoiding the stack of chips, they settle down, as I gasp, the dice reveal as I hear the stickman say 12!!!!
The whole table is screaming for JOY. I am jumping up and down. Wow what a rush!!!
Total cash out was close to $1850. 😀
Day 4 – Had a few newbies to Vegas show up and we went downtown, played craps, played a little vp.
No big scores or wins.
Day 5 – Superbowl party at off strip casino. Afterwards we went to a new casino with a promotion.
Very upscale casino. $25 tables everywhere, nothing less. They had a slot club promotion.
Lose a $100 get another $100 to play. Well one the guys with me got chicken. I told him
Scared money dont make money. I proceeded to show him. I used his card and played
Wheel of Fortune $1 machine. First slots machine
I played in over a year I think. Well got to the last $10 and I hit a Spin, lands on $1000!!!
Great day to end your week in Vegas. First time I think lately that I came home with $3000 plus.
Took some great photos waving the $1000 ticket with a cigar in my hand. Afterwards, my cousin
who gave up his $100 promo to me, asks for a commission saying he let me use his card.
I tell him Scared money dont make money. No commission, no comps baby! LOL.
Couple of things.
1. Thanks – Glue Factory or is it Horse Factory – you gave me a tip during a refresher course and I took it with me and practice it everytime.
You also told the whole bunch, but I listened and it has saved me lots of money.
2. Thanks – Doc Crap – You told me how to practice and visiting certain practice methods. It has helped.

It has been several years since we played together and I’m so happy for you. Somehow this year I am going to make it to the Duke and we have to play again. Congratulations!!!

I like your comment that "sacred money don’t win." How true. Winning is the objective in any game or objective. In gambling (and as advantage players we don’t gamble since we only play where we have a long term advantage) money is the way we keep score. Glad you had a trip in the "W" column.
Glad I was able to help in your practice routine.
Keep up th good work.

I love reading reports on here. So from now on, I’ll post a report for every trip to a casino.
I’ll be in Vegas again May 7-11. 😀
