GTC Assistant Instructor; GTC (1st class) & GTB Graduate, 40-Roll Club, 50-Roll Club, Post of the Month 11/06, Gold Chip Member, WCC Winner, Sandtrap’s 90 Roll

Jack, Sandtrap, and I went to AC on Monday to meet up with Suzy and her friend, Karl, and TBurg and his wife Donna. The latter did not show up until the evening, so we played by ourselves during the day. It was not a great morning, although we had again practiced at Jack’s Sunday night and Monday morning. With four rolls each, Sandtrap managed one 27 roll, with the others below nine. My rolls were 3, 27, 16, and 12. Jack rolled about a 28 after we left the table. We did catch two CF’ers with rolls of 32 and 27. Between them and my rolls, I actually walked away with a profit. However, the general feeling amongst us was disgust with the rolls, so we went to 2pm bingo to get our minds off the dice. It doesn’t cost anything, there is coffee and tea, we met some nice people at our table, and Jack and I actually came within one or two numbers on two rounds.

The afternoon was spent at Pai Gow since the tables were full. (Bingo brings them in from all over.) After Susy’s group finished dinner, we all managed to get on a table. The table was full, so it took 1- 1/2 hours for the dice to come around, by which time I was falling asleep (at 11:40pm). Susy had three good rolls of 23, 11, and 18. I rolled a 7 and 15, and gave my spot to TBurg. Sandtrap went to bed around 11. Jack stayed . Susy and friends went to "breakfast" and didn’t get to bed until 1:30am, I believe.

Tuesday morning, Susy was down with us at 7:30am. I think she was still tired, as out of six rolls her longest were two 11’s. Jack had one 14 roll, and Sandtrap didn’t have any double digit rolls. My rolls were 19, 21, 3, 10, 18, 10, and 3. Francie showed up and interrupted me just as I was throwing, so of course , the 7 showed, and I quit. Skinny and we met Francie several years ago when she took the course, and won the no 7’s contest. She is now working as a dealer in PA, and only comes to AC occasionally.

Susy and friends took off for Cape May, and had a huge lobster lunch there, so we again didn’t see them until after our dinner and their naps. After our lunch, Jack rolled an 11; Sandtrap tossed a nice 17.
I rolled a 3 and a 14, and quit for Pai Gow. The men later joined me there. After dinner, Jack had rolls of 4, 10, 2, 19, 2, 2, 11, and 16. Sandtrap had rolls of 13, 15, 8, 5, 14, and 2. My rolls were 7, 11, 4, 10, and 6. Susy had one nice 28 roll before I left for bed.

Wednesday morning Susy again made it down early, but she could have stayed in bed. I think we were all too tired. Jack tossed one 20 roll; I had one 19 roll, TBurg had one 18 roll; and that was it. There was also a CF’er who had a 17 roll with six 10’s who made us all some money. After breakfast wasn’t much better. With three rolls each, Susy did the best with a 17, 28, and 4. TBurg tossed an 18 and a 6. Jack’s rolls were 3, 13, and 3. Sandtrap had one 14 roll, and I had one 13 roll. Susy and friends went to the boardwalk, I went to Pai Gow, and Jack and Sandtrap went for a nap.

After dinner, Situation and RobK showed up. Sandtrap wasn’t doing well, and gave his spot to Situation, who tossed a 6, 15, and 24. My rolls were 14, 4, 18, and 2, and I gave my spot to RobK, and I went to bed. Jack stayed up until 2am, but said he didn’t have any good rolls. Susy and friends again went to "breakfast" and to bed at 4:30am. RobK went home, and Situation stayed overnight to await his family the next day.

Thursday morning we again met early on an empty table. We should have all stayed in bed. It was so bad, that even the dealers said they had never seen us play like that. At one point, the stick man put his stick down, and folded his hands in prayer. I told the dealers they were the only ones making any money (on come out 7’s from those of us who tip on our PL bets). Sandtrap had one 13 and one 11 roll. I didn’t have any good rolls. Sandtrap and I gave our spots to Tburg and Susy (who moved from SR1 to SL1.) Jack had one 11 and one 10 roll, but didn’t quit. After two hours of play, TBurg had one very nice 33 roll. After the third hour, Susy had a beautiful 38 roll. (Situation came down in the middle of the roll, but didn’t buy in.) With that roll, my losses were made up, and Sandtrap, Jack, and I went to breakfast with Situation, and then home. Susy and friends were going to stay until 3pm, waiting for a 6pm flight home. Susy’s friend, Karl, made out like a bandit on two slot machines during their stay. Donna played some slots, but really enjoyed their side trips. Situation was going to spend the day with his family.

* I love the goddess reports they have lots of info, but none of it about the length of the table or the dice or the felt or the bosman or how the dice did funny things.

She post all about what they did and that is the greatest thing thank you so much for you time and example you set for all to follow.

They call her the goddess for a reason aspire to be like her and you will become great!

Nice report, sorry to hear the shooting was so/so. But sounds like it was a great trip meeting a lot of nice folks.
