March 19, 2013 14:27 CET Case Resolved in Nevada: While New Jersey regulators made a unilateral move yesterday in deciding to levy a fine against Caesars Entertainment regarding an incident that took place several years ago involving a high roller and two of the gaming giant’s Las Vegas properties (see "Today’s News" 3/18/2013), we now have confirmation that the case in Nevada was concluded back in 2011, when state regulators here concluded their own separate investigation and concluded, after many months of questioning of all parties involved, that no statutory violation had taken place on the part of the casino licensee, which nevertheless instituted some internal remedial measures to ensure that nothing similar could occur in the future. Case closed.
