Craps

DUMB AND DUMBER

Spread the love

I dont know about any one else, but now and then i amaze myself with my inability to sustain any reasonable degree of intelligent thought.

I like the game of craps, and i have 100% confidence that if a person can learn the GTC throw watch the proper betting patterns you can do well.

After i started this i got a table made, i have the smart craps and i practice daily. I doubt if i ever have
been this consistantly serious about anything i wanted to do . I have been amazed i dont ever get sick of it. I also enjoy the fact that i dont get tired of it.

I guess i am telling myself i have done what it takes and i should be getting more consistant. However today some thing hit me between
the eyes, and i felt dumb and even dumber. I practice from SL1 on my table, and i have told myself that when i play i want to play there to give myself the best chance to win……and i do,…. well

Today i was going to play on a 12 foot table, which i have been wanting to do. SL1 was full and i waited some, then i thought it may open so i stepped into SR1 to be there to get it. I bet now and then, just passing time, then moved to SL2
wow was getting closer. At SL2 i threw some, throw did not look to bad, but results were not good. after long time i got to SL1,,, and had 4 throws and they were all good.

Thats when it hit me, since September i had played on a 16 foot table…. which is terrible, then a tub, then the 16 foot table a few times… then a 14 footer, but had thrown only from SL2, then back to the 16 table few times. 5 months time, i had thrown 4 hands on a decent sized table from the spot that i had practiced on. I had always thrown from SL1 on the 16 footer, but it may as well be from the parking lot.

Here i had practiced every day for 5 months, and the truth is i gave myself almost no chance to win consistantly. I am not sure how to feel about this. disappointed in my lack of attention to this for sure… wondering what the results would have been and could be if i start paying attention.

d you practice on your table from a position that is the same distance from the back wall as you would be at SL1 or what. you want to practice at the same distance of where you will be playing from in a casino. this varies for tables of different lengths.

Sometimes the simplest things escape us, Gman…

Try setting up the various table lengths and different positions you regularly shoot from as different shooters in SmartCraps.

For example, Gman SL1 (12); Gman SL2 (12); Gman SL1 (14), etc.

You can do this by selecting NEW, then NAME FOR NEW SHOOTER in SmartCraps Roll Recorder program.

In doing so, you can then practice from the different positions and lengths and also have valuable information on your skills from the various positions.

Hope this helps!

the 16 table bugs me…. in truth i have had many rolls over 40 on it, but if i dont have long roll i dont have any roll at all. The last month or so i really like my throw, and it even seems better on the 16 footer, but i am so inconsistant it is very hard to make money. cant wait to get to vegas in march for 7 days , to play on 12-14 tables everyday….
