Any suggestions in regards to playing on this or other cruise ships? Headed for a trip from LA to Mexico in January and they advertise a craps table onboard. I am guessing that due to limited space that it will probably be a small table.

Link to their info. Table looks regulation. I’d be more worried about the dice. If that second picture is accurate.

Play the GTC commandments, and tip the dealers, they will be your friends among all the quick show offs. Good Luck, Set44 😀 😀

Proceed with caution. You should have a good time.

It is a regulation table. Dice look like the real thing.
I agree with Stickman, use the GTC methods and you should have a good time.
Be a good tipper also, the dealers will treat you well.
I have made money on that table.
Watch out for rough sea days, can throw off your game.
Enjoy the cruise.

My wife and I love cruising , but have never been on a Carvival. Usually on RCCL or Princess (a division of Carvival) We will be on a Princess ship in 2 weeks.
The other posters have made great suggestions. I find the odds are usually only 1x or 2x. Therefore I use place bets if it is not a bouncy table. I do not go on cruise to play craps, but do partake as required
Also go to the upper left on the site and put in the box "Cruise ships" and you can see past posts re Cruise ships.
Enjoy everything on your cruise, it is a great way to travel.

PS: If you are a shareholder of CCL (Carnival) or Royal Caribbean (RCL), you can get onboard credit $$$ depending on lenghth of the cruise. Just google the cruise line shareholder credit. I am not sure about the other lines.

Crime is a serious issue on cruise ships.
You are getting on an isolated vessel with thousands of STRANGERS and no police.
You have no Idea who those people are.
The crew hail from all over the world mant from very poor area.
There is also excessive alcohol consumption which could alter judgement.
The industry is very powerful and they prefer to coverup the problem.
Always be cautious, watch out for your family, especially children. Protect valuables
From a Fox News article:
"The industry has come under recent fire from groups such as the International Cruise Victims Association when several media outlets learned that the FBI and the U.S. Coast Guard changed language in the Cruise Vessel Security and Safety bill right before it was passed into law to make it easier for cruise lines to withhold statistics about crime. Walker and other critics charge that far fewer crimes are being listed on the public database and that the industry is touting a false safety record. "

Also be careful on those islands many are crime infested slums masquerading as a tropical paradise.
Just my opinion.
Be safe

I have brought a few different color sets of dice with me to try and practice with, I always make sure I include 1 set of white dice because I have never seen a casino use white dice. I can find time in the afternoon when the casino is empty to practice for a short time.
