My home table is 10.75". Some casino tables are a little lower, especially the vintage tables and their trays are a little shallower too. I have seen some tables a little higher. As discussed previously the table height varies around 27-28" from the floor. Goldfinger has a former casino table so hopefully he will see this and respond.

I come up with 11.5". You didn’t ask but the chip rail with padding is 9" wide.

‘Sup, you building something?

brothelman,

My table came from the Palace Station casino in 2001. It is a 12 footer and the distance is 11 and 3/8 inches from table top to top of rubber moulding which is 1/8 above the wood tray. Congrats on your six days of play. See you next month.

At the casino I play at most frequently, I extended my arm with fingers straight along the wall at SL1. I marked my arm with a ballpoint where it meets the top of the chip rail. It measured 11" from the tip of my fingers to the mark. I built my throwing station with the chip rail and padding 11" higher than the 28 inch throwing surface The total width of chip rail/padding is 8 and half inches. Good Luck – today is a great day for Craps. Set44 😀

No it wont because when i practice i stand on a 4by 4 so i get the same feeling lmao.

Practice the way you want to play.

I already cuss to much in practice, it’s a bitch to not do it at the casino and I am a miserable failure at that. That is how I practice and I don’t really want to play that way. Hell isn’t it??

Bman Just went out and took at look at my table but I remember after I built it that I needed to raise it to wash off patio. It sits at 28 1/2 off concrete . The rail is at top 10 5/8 above table. My rail is made from old wood so measures 1 inch. So this puts the table at 41 1/2 inch were I throw from but is less on dealers side were the chips are do to patio slope. I need to get level back out since I had to move table since the last time I leveled it.
If you ( anybody ) is planning on building a table you need to think about if you need it up off the ground or not. I did not think about cleaning the patio till after the table was together. Was not going to take it apart.
Going to vegas this week.
Good Rolling. 😀
