I just want to make a few points

As for the "History" thing I did not know that CIII was referring to a specific item. I thought he was asking for information concerning how this all came about. It is a fascinating topic in my opinion and I did not see anything wrong with his idea. I read cubemans post and his reference to cartoons that were ancient history and yo me I felt he was a little rough on CIII.
It is my understanding that CIII is eighty years old and still out there playing craps, surfing the net for info and posting info. I believes he deserves a certain amount of respect just for that. That is why against my better judgement I put up a post questioning cube man. It is as simple as that.

As for some of the other issues. Planted posts are made on all boards all the time. People here and elsewhere realize that, it is generally harmless and done to start up conversation. Not a big deal.

Dice control history is open for interpretation. I think Franks account on the old board was pretty good. However There are no radical terrorists doing this just a few different camps with different views. I have watched it for years and I think I understand the evolution. As nick at night reminds us this is a business and competition in business is good. It keeps everybody on their toes

As for the published writing being fiction. Well at the end of the day all it comes down to basics. This all started with Franks stories of the Captain and his crew. Were they real? I can tell you this, I am naturally curious and skeptical. I did my own research which was very through. As a result I identified a real person that I suspected. I then spoke with a person that was the captains age and was from the same neighborhood
He answered some additional questions I had and completed the picture. So I can tell you this the Captain was a real person . (Other than telling Frank years ago I will NEVER REVEAL his identity)
I’m closing I would like to say I have always stayed out of the board controversies and that will be my firm rule going forward. I truly believe Frank and Dom are good decent honest people. I admire them both
They provide a service that they work very hard to always improve. They deserve to be compensated and respected. As a matter if fact with few exceptions most of the people I have observed in this thing of our were basically good people.
