I could never vote for a socialist or a comunist so that leaves Obama out. If this great nation crumbles under socialism like all the other socialist contries before it then it must be a natrual progression like weeds taking over a garden. But I will go to my grave knowing I never voted for it, not even by mistake.

Do you think this country would have made it this long and been this great if it had started out a socialist country? Of course not.

Then why would you want to change it now? Its not this countries fault you are a worthless P.O.S. its your parents. Like your kids will be. and so on. left unchecked termites will bring down the biggest and the best house. Then there is nothing left to eat.

If it comes to pass I hope you live long enough to suffer you socialist utopia.

With almost 50 million people – many of whom work – on food stamps (my church bulletin now advertises for food stamps, which has changed its name to SNAP); with medicaid and medicare; with social security; with free schools; free libraries…you get the picture. Most of these things are good. But slowly the concept of helping people expand, much like a beauacracy, and suddenly everyone expects government to help them even if they don’t really need . The only way government can help is taking the money from "A" and giving it to "B." We have to be careful what we are taking and why.

There is something to be said for government help and there is something to be said against government just giving away money. Look at the new suggestions Obama and the Democrats are offering in regards to student loans…the former student only has to pay back a percentage of his salary. Yes, this is an obvious effort to get the college and post-college vote (those still living with their parents) but the handout will be much appreciated.

Government largesse is government control.
