Jerry’s article stated "If you can hit the numbers you are setting for at an extremely high rate, you will win a lot of money. Rolls in the single digits can bring in the profits."

I really enjoyed this article but I do have a question I have wanted to ask for a long time.

My question is only for the truly "On axis" shooter and let me just say that this is nothing that I would suggest for anyone unless they have a high degree of proven on axis control per Smart Craps.

Why do all of the great GTC shooters use the 3V instead of the 2V? Just curious as I would take the payoffs on the 4 and 10 any day of the week if I could toss many Primary hits with the dice. Is it really all about the number of ways you can toss a 6 and 8 as opposed to the 4 and 10? I know you are all math guys and I agree with that in theory but the ability to toss Primary face after Primary face on the dice does alter my thinking on some level.

Who can help me out here?

Thanks! πŸ™‚

After passing all three Smart Craps tests, the software will give you your optimal dice set for hitting specific point numbers (4/10,5/9 and 6/8).
It will also give you an optimal dice set for come out rolls (all seven set).

GTC does not recommend changing sets and targeting points at the table. Stick to one set and avoid the seven is the key to success. Thinking too much at the table and changing up a dice set will take you out of the zone.

Most of the instructors use the hardway set at the tables. Frank uses the 3V. Smart Craps recommends that I use the 2V for maximum hits on the even numbers. The results are different for each shooter and practice with various sets is recommended after taking the refresher course based on the Smart Craps results.

DP is correct. If you look closely with the 2v set the 6 and 8 are secondary hits with the 4 and 10 being your primary hits. However you better be on axis 100%.

Just my $.02

It is great to have such talented people in the GTC camp. You have to realize that they are writing for major publications and you can see why. Stickman is one of the best! You are so right CIII.

if you think about it you have Frank who is number one in the world for casino writing and you have Bill Burton and Stickman and Skinny and Dominator and Sanchez and Jumbotron and Scan and others who are really top notch. You will not see this collection of talent on any other web sites.
