The Biggest Little City

Spread the love

I am making my last outing before attending class in LV this October. I have been a CFer for a long time and I am determined to acquire the skill to change that. I have already altered my betting strategy and the 5 count is a great tool. I don’t claim to have any influence on the dice and my powers of observation have given cause to more questions than answers. I am excited to learn new skills and meet a new group of people. I love the game and I think that’s where it all starts. I have done all my homework and reading leading up to LV and expect to be like a sponge.
If anybody has any suggestions as to where to play on my visit to Reno, please email me personally. Otherwise, I look forward to meeting some of you in LV.
All the best,
DougD

Harrahs had some very arrogant dealers in my opinion!!! Circus Circus was a blast, staff was great.

I played at Harrahs by myself in the morning at a $5 table. gave the stick the choice of $1 piggyback on top of my bet or a fire bet. He chose the PB bet. I had a roll of 20+ made 5 points but three of them were six and they were great. So I had no problem with them. I was using come bets and had the 6 at max odds and also placed for $30Stick had to help the dealer understand that concept.

Please be careful in The Biggest Little City. It has some of the best places and some of the worst places in very close proximity. You MUST be doing ALL of the 20 Commandments there, being spot on with setting the dice, the toss, and hitting the back wall….and tipping. You should be comfortable throwing in a casino, getting the dice and throwing in under seven seconds….everything GTC teaches. It’s a great place to go when you’re proficient and know where to go and how to act. Otherwise, you might experience some of the bad parts of Reno…..not to mention risking putting Dice Controllers on the radar, in a negative sense.

Remember, practice as you would play, and play as you practice.

Good luck!!

Why oh why do some people ignor the GTC rule of not naming casinos.

It is diffucult enough to roll at this great race location without a poster doing what B-Man did.

That place sweats the money. I never missed the back wall last year when I was in there. I did bang out 2 to the fire bet within 4 rolls. The next roll hit the wall on the fly and stick went ballastic.

This year before I even shot the floor supervisor came and told me that each and every shot must hit the back wall.

I latter asked if they kept a book and they do indeed know who the shooters are.

My best advice is not to roll in that casino.

I don’t talk about what you do at the table that i hear about that is causing heat, so leave me out plaese.

Harrahs in reno wants nothing to do with setters so who cares about there name .

Plus was i the only one to use a name,no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did i talk about winning or a hand or conditions no.

So get a clue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did i mention using a chair and changin places with it no.

Did i mention how it drives the dealers made to see some first a setter then playing the method with all the on and off and on again,no.

So to the clueless get a grip of what is right and wrong.

Did i make it harder to play there maybe, why?

Because of my abilty and the winning i did there, not by doing them a favor and saying harrahs in reno wants nothing to do with dice setters so stay away if you want to have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need to get a clue not me. You have made several referencences to Lois and I changing position at the tables and called it a chinese fire drill. We shoot out of one bankroll and no casino has given us any heat. Lois must sit at the table because she is still recovering. You were so insensative that when she was in the hospital dying you suggested that I needed to go to the casino to get my mind off of her health issues.

I have rolled with you many times and when we roll without you we are more successful. You mentioned my use of the method. I have never used the method when you were at the table with me. You said you hear complaints about how method users are up and down and on and off. Well that’s the way it is played and that is why it is successful. The dealers are there to do a job. They work at your pleasure. They should not complain when a person wants a bet put up or down or off or when they want a lay bet or several lay bets on the next roll. You don’t have any place critizing how I bet when I use the method. You have no idea how it works and as evidenced by your illerate posts it is clear to me that you wouldn’t have the brains to apply any of the math skills required to play it. Plain and simple it works, but I don’t recommend it on this site nor any other site. I simply don’t recommend it to other players and I don’t discuss it with any GTC folks. I am not trying to sell the method I don’t care how people bet nor how they perceive me for using the method. I follow the GTC rules when I shoot. Some people use Pai-Gow and video poker and blackjack as restful alternatives to throwing. I use the method as my alternative.

We are well respected in the casinos we roll in. I have seen first hand your temper tantrums and foul language. In several casinos they ask me where is that "idiot" who wears the big shoes and I say I no longer have any thing to do with him and they sigh a big sigh of relief.

I saw your post ablout being like ACPA (no one wanted to roll with you). No one rolled with ACPA because he had a non-working telephone number. People don’t roll with you because you give them the Spanish Inquisition about their table manners, where they are staying and how they bet.

Maybe you can fololw the exits from this board as shown to you by DB+W and others who have taken down their posts or requested that their posts be removed.

Lois and I make a profit each and every month because we have developed excellent betting skills and discipline at the tables. Just because you are not successful in life like I am and you are unreliable and undependable don’t critize us.

I never mentioned you by name but if the shoe fits wear it.

As for tempure tantums what is your post.

I wish i was as great as you say you are.

Don’t come in with some trite comment like "if the shoe fits wear it". You didn’t have to mention me by name. You have tried saying this about us before and people came out of the woodwork telling you how wrong you were. Face it, you can’t compete with me and you know it. You’re the one who is trying to say it might be about all the money you made at that particular casino. You can only hope to get shoes in your life that fit me, because you couldn’t handle life in my shoes. You don’t have what it takes to get to my level in life. You are undependable and unreliable.

This is not a temper tantrum. When you make veiled ugly unfounded comments about someone like me, I take it very personnally and will defend myself with rehtortic that speaks to the truth about you and your character. I never have public displays like you have.

lmao!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by: brothelman on September 12, 2012, 6:31 pm

After hours of going over old posts i found one post that one person stood up for you and that was me when you where having your say about the party.

No one has ever deffended the fire drill everyone has said it is wrong way wrong.

So if the shoe fits wear it.

lmao

You are so so wrong. What we do is not the chinese fire drill. As I said you are unreliable and undependable as obviously you have nothing better to do with your time than reread old posts. Since we are retired we have the option of going to the casino at any time and rolling with anyone we want to and spending as much time as we want to on the internet.

It doesn’t suprise me that because you are so unreliable and undependdable that you have enough idle time to try and one up me and there are plenty of handyman jobs avaiable since the flooding. But then you think you can make a living in the casinos and based on your business accumen we know the truth speaks for itself. So take your shoes and go pout in the corner. Maybe in the future you will find some maturity. One can only hope.

Don’t mean to intrude but I think you guys have hammered each other enough. Doesn’t anything else need to be said? Why not just exchange emails?

Posted by: Guest on September 12, 2012, 8:23 pm

I couldn’t agree with you more. We are on my way out to roll and then have dinner with the friend that will be joining us. Of course he and I both have enough comps to cover costs and don’t need to rely on anyone else to pay our way. We are both mature enough to take care of our own needs without depending on someone else to take care of us.

Discussion closed.
