I would like to recognize my good friend and playing partner JBW for his outstanding effort in producing the Morgan Adams Childrens Cancer charity event. He and his wife Deb spend most of their summer working on this. He arranges for the display of nearly 100 antique and classic automobiles and almost 50 vintage aircraft at the TAC air hangers at Centennial airport here in Denver. Deb contacts every upscale restaurant in the area to provide free food and drink and then they make it happen for the thousands of people who attend. This is their tenth year doing this.
It is saturday afternoon and evening. The vintage aircraft do fly-bys most of the afternoon,and the cars are judged in the evening for the best of show award. Some of the cars are valued in the 1 to 5 million dollar range. Who knows what the airplanes are worth. They raise lots of money for a good cause. A big thank you to Jim and Deb.
