6 Aug. I started for San Antonio from Tacoma at 8 AM with high expectations of a fantastic road trip with my daughter, sightseeing and visiting 3 casinos on the way. Spending time with my grand daughter in SA then on my way back meeting Diceman in SB, Doc Crapology and Alligator Rose in Austin TX. and OMC in Central city.
Stopped at the casino in north bend wash for about an hour, 12 ft table with fair bounce, 3 cfr’s but SL1 was open, had the dice 3 times and managed to lose half my buy in. One of those times when you pick up the dice and they just don’t feel right in your grip, throws were ok but couldn’t get past 8-9 throws before throwing a seven and the only repeating numbers were ones I didn’t have a pass line or come bet on. The CF’s were managing to pass the 5 count so I had a come bet out when they seven-ed out.
Took the first of 211 pictures outside the casino and headed southeast for Oregon. Arrived at the Indian casino outside Pendleton mid afternoon, the table was half full and the CF at SL1 left as I walked up so I slid right in. 12 ft table with a bounce similar to my practice table; Had the dice twice and threw a 8 and 11 roll respectively, grip and toss felt good for having been driving for hours. Only lost a little there and decided to hit the road.
Onward to Albuquerque NM, to the 66 casino with lots of sightseeing and picture taking stops. Arrived at the 66 at 7:30 AM, the crap and pai gow tables were closed so we played a little casino Texas holdem at a nickle table, 45 minutes later we were both up around $80 so we colored up, cashed in and headed to SA.
Arrived in SA the evening of the 9th looking forward to several days relaxing with my grand daughter before heading to SB and meeting Diceman. On the 10th I found out she was having problems with the trustee of her fathers estate and decided to use my casino cash for a lawyer to start legal action against the trustee.
Some things are more important than having fun at a casino; I was really looking forward to meeting and playing craps with Diceman and the others in SB and OMC in Central city and I apologize to them for having to cancel. Other than meeting and playing craps with sevenout they would have been the first GTC"rs I would have been in a casino with.
On the bright side I was able to spend several hours visiting with Doc Crapology and Alligator Rose as I started home.
