I don’t think one is better than the other—both are excellent. I have done both. On the video I was one of the first guina pigs to be filmed. It is excellent and will show you many flaws in your throw.
Alligator Rose has taken the elite video as well.

The refresher is such an indepth immersion with hands on teaching from the instructors that you will certainly learn a lot.

Ask Brothelman as he quotes something similar to the following: " I hate these courses so much that I have taken the refresher, advanced, elite video and tune ups many times, that I have taken the refresher twice, the advanced once, elite video once and tune ups 3 times."

Simply said, one is not better than the other as they all are so important in your GTC journey. Take them all you won’t regret it.

Just my $.02 worth.

Thanks Doc, but my 2 cents for paying for it is rather restricted, so I need to be careful where money is spent!

OK, wouldn’t take the video until you at least take the refresher course. The changes that will be made will just be too small and possibly we couldn’t do it anyway if your shot isn’t there yet. What we have found is it is the best to take the video on the same weekend that you take the Advanced course.

Why? Because what you will learn in the video can then be used even more in the advanced class. Billy the Kid and NF5 teach the advanced as well as the video so it makes sense. In AC last year, everyone that took the advanced did the video and it worked like a charm!

Well i have to say that everything should be taken in order for each of us, then if you have to repeat, repeat
what helped most for you.

I struggled an awful lot in the refresher. Guess i had to many problems with my toss. But i found that when i would get a good correction from an instructor, i could not follow through on it. At one point Dice Pilot made
a change in my toss and it really worked, then i went to different height throwing stations and found i was working more on adjusting to the height of the station than to my correction, so within a couple of minutes i lost the feeling of what Dice Pilot had shown me. i have short arms, so adjusting
to high stations prevented me from working on the tips from instructors. It was indicated they wanted you
to learn to throw on stations with different heights… this makes sense , i just struggled some with it.

For me the elite video helped alot, you saw a problem and worked on that problem. If i had to pick a
tool to do again that would be it. I have however added my own analysis. You can get an ipad and use that
to video yourself… my wife has been doing that from time to time and i toss and she video’s and then i
look at it. this has helped. This allows me to work on one ( of many) flaw at a time.

repeat what helped you the most.
