Think of China and Russia and Cuba. These counries have great medal production because they know how to train and treat their athletes from a very early age. Look how great they do in the Olympics. That is proof positive that socialism can bring out the best in people. They particiapte in the games because they love their countries not because they are hungering for money like American athletes.

They participate in the games because the are forced to. They perform well because the penalty for poor performance it too great. Unlike other countries (USA,GB) where the athletes participate because they love the sport.
