December 9th last weekend I went to Atlantic City to see a show and was excited to throw some bones. The show was great, but the table situation was not so good. The tables are all new and I feel they are great for dice setting. That wasn’t the problem. If I played earlier my spot SL1 was open. I didn’t play due to a late check in and dinner plans before the show. So, after the show ended at 10pm I went to the tables. Four of the five tables were open. One $15 table had a good crowd while, the other 2 ($15) were not too crowded. The $25 table had 4-5 players. As I got closer to the tables it looked like I was able to have my spot at any of the tables. I was wrong. My eyes deceived me. The first table SL1 & SL2 had reserved signs at those spots. I then preceded to move to the other tables and the result was the same. I asked a fellow friend that was playing how long have those reserved signs been up. He said about 3 hours & not one person has played there as of yet. I decided it was not worth it to play and I would come back later on. I returned at 12:30 am figuring my spot would be open but, guess what it wasn’t. The reserve signs were still up. One of two things possibly happened, they saw me earlier and new I was going to hit them hard that night as I had done the previous weekend. I felt great by the way and knew that I was ready only to be held back by a sign. Or there could be many doing well also from those spots. That could be because the tables are not bouncy as they had been in the past. All of those tables have new felt not microfiber. I will try again this weekend try to play.
